Hello everyone,I am freaking out over my 18-month-old son’s birth chart. His ascendant is accurate to the minute- I was awake and birthed him myself and was able to see a clock that showed the exact time of birth (verified with my watch lol). His chart does not look good for his longevity or health and I am terrified that he’s going to die young or have some kind of terrible infirmity. He has a 0 degree ascendant in Sagittarius with chart ruler Jupiter in Pisces in the 3rd house. Normally this would make his chart ruler very strong and well-placed, but instead it makes no positive aspects to anything else in the chart, which gives it no support. In fact, this is a case where the chart ruler is in an exact square with the ascendant. Not good for health or longevity. The ruler of the 8th house, moon, is not only conjunct the ascendant but is also in conjunction with mars, and makes a tight square to the chart ruler. Mars is often associated with violence/accidents. The south node is conjunct the ascendant, which doesn’t seem like a great place to be either. Further, Neptune rx is conjunct the IC, which is also not a great aspect for home/family life and stability. All of these factors alone have made me very afraid. This is one of the most intense charts I have ever seen and I have such a feeling of dread. I’m sure I’m focusing on the negatives only, but they are so strong in the chart and I feel so hopeless. Can anyone help me to interpret his chart rationally (since I’m not capable of rationality)? Is there any hope? (I’m trying to post his chart but I can’t seem to figure it out so hopefully this works). https://i.imgur.com/u2FImT7.png Thank you in advance, Nelys IP: Logged |

Hello Nelys,The chart link worked for me. Wow, interesting chart for your son, especially with everything below the horizon! Aries can be impulsive making them more prone to injury in accidents. However, right-off-hand I noticed a lot of stable (not impulsive) Capricorn energy in your little one's chart, which is in general all business and not associated with Martian risk-taking accidents. Also don't underestimate Sagittarian luck. I'm often amazed by how much luck Sagittarius has stuffed in that old horseshoe of theirs. Motherhood can be both wonderful and worrisome. Savor the experience and the little moments. And try not to worry too much about things like if your little one might have bad knees when he gets older. Unless of course there are currently signs something is amiss with your son's development or health, then we should address it right away. And I say we because I'm all on-board with the notion that it takes a village to raise a child, which also means that you are not alone. -HRH IP: Logged |

Hi, please don't this to yourself...Look at natal chart of David Lynch... so many brilliant people have complex, hard wired charts... He has a soul... you just don't know how his soul will react to those influences... After I wrote these words, I checked his chart... And I smiled... I think his chart has lots of beautiful potentials... it is not a hard wired chart at all... His ascendant is doing just fine... so many of his planets have easy flow energy... relax ma IP: Logged |

Hi Nelys,Don’t worry too much, everyone has challenges in their chart. We’re all here to learn something and grow. Difficult placements will be challenging but also can bring great achievements. The most successful people often have a lot of tension in their birth chart. I have kids myself and one of the hardest things to realize is that I can’t protect them from everything and I shouldn’t want to either. You have to find a balance that offers your child a save and nurturing environment but that doesn’t smother them. They need to build confidence and become critical and independent adults. It’s difficult. Both my sons have difficulties in their charts. My eldest has a first house Pluto and an Aquarius stellium opposite a retrograde Leo Mars. This opposition squares my Taurus stellium opposite Scorpio Uranus. My youngest has a t-square with Libra Venus square Cancer Moon and Capricorn Pluto. My Libra Pluto Rising is conjunct his Venus and squaring his Moon and Pluto opposition. He also has his Scorpio Sun conjunct my north node. I could get very anxious about this but I decided that this would only be miserable for me and my kids. There clearly is a lot of karma between me and my kids but with such an intimate connection it would have been strange if the synastry would only show a superficial connection. I mostly see it as a confirmation of what I already noticed about their needs when interacting with me. My eldest with all his Aquarius (including Moon conjunct Mercury) needs intellectual stimulation from me. Something that my Gemini Mercury trine my Libra Rising can handle very well. I need to give him the room and support to be his own unique self. My youngest is much more sensitive. He needs more reassurance. He wants to know that he has my loyalty and that I will be there for him no matter what. He’s a total cuddlebug and my 8th house Taurus stellium will bring that energy he needs. Both have different needs and interacting with them can be intense but I know I’ve got it in me to help them feel nurtured and help them grow. IP: Logged |

I’m sorry I didn’t reply right away; I so appreciate everyone who responded to my post. I have OCD and a number of other mental health issues and I seem to obsess over the charts of my children/husband, especially when the chart seems so intense. I hyperfocus on all of the potential negative outcomes over various placements (for example, I also began to obsess about his natal Venus-Pluto conjunction in the 2nd house (another fear of him struggling with loss etc). I have always been very intuitive and at one point was “reading”‘people who I had never met (my sister would ask me to readings), without even using a chart. My impressions were always spot on and I could describe a person down to what they were wearing at the moment and any childhood memories that may be influencing them now (usually whatever had significance for them). After a while I became fearful and because of the loss I’ve experienced in my life I chose to walk away from it to “protect” myself. All of this is to say that it’s interesting as a musician and intuitive to see Neptune right on my son’s AC. Anyway blah blah blah tl;dr I’m super grateful for all of the responses. If anyone wants to take a stab at my chart and why I’ve had so many “psychic” experiences I’d be very interested. I often read that people with psychic ability have a large amount of Neptune/12th house placements and strong aspects to luminaries; usually multiple. In my case, I have sun-Neptune in the 7th and moon in Scorpio-Jupiter in the 6th. Additionally, my chart ruler is Mercury in the 8th house and 3rd house (communication) ruled by the moon (in Scorpio). I have also read a lot about Pluto being an influence and in that case I have a lot of that lol (for better or worse I guess). What are your thoughts? Sun and a stellium in Capricorn, the longevity sign; moon-Mars conjunction sextile Saturn, the ruler of Capricorn. I'd say the little one has prospects. Parents can't protect their children from just anything in life, but I suggest you relax and help your baby have the best beginning only you can give him ❤IP: Logged | |
