9th house, and I've moved between two different countries, multiple times. Born in England, moved here at six months. moved back a few years later, to England, then moved back here as a teenager. Moved around parts of England, and the US. IP: Logged |

http://www.horoscopejoy.com/cancer-in-8th-house-private-and-quite-secretiv I'd say private, not exploiting of what's inside, what I do inside. Paranormal themes have occurred in a few places I've lived@. Some mysteries too. Deaths to people nearby, not inside our home but various endings occurred a lot. I'm a night owl more often than not. I could go on but idk what to add, the adult stuff - 8th house. lol
My own place pre marriage, I had friends over often and played with a ouija board with one. IP: Logged |

No. What describes the home life in everyone's birth chart is the IC/4th house -- in a precisely accurate chart (less common than you'd think, even with a birth time recorded to a specific minute). But the kind of mutability + Uranus factor you have in your chart is a contributor to less stable conditions. 5 planets in mutable signs + 5 in fire signs = mutable fire signature. ------------------ The Declcinations Guy Soul Stars Astrology Gemstone Readings for energy balance and healing We were born for these times. My IC is in leo, I do not relate at all and actually despise having people in my home. I have very few people that I'm comfortable enough with to invite them into my home. But of course, my sun is deep inside the 12th house so that explains a lot. Cancer is on my 2nd and 3rd house cusps, I'll have to think about how that might "flavor" my home life. IP: Logged |

hmm... its something to ponder aboutIt isn't really a reflection in my chart. My IC (in rectified chart)/MC describe my inner world/outer world pretty well. But the 2nd house cancer is somehow linked to my 5h moon. I feel a self esteem boost when I reconnect with my hobbies and doing pleasurable things - esp when it generates $$ - so you do see me growing up getting lost in my hobbies and finding ways to make money to buy the things I like. But it's not necessary my home life - its natural for me to do those things. I think IC is more of the subconscious (is this the right term?). How my childhood molded me. I can be critical towards myself (Virgo IC) so I tend to be a perfectionist inside and hard on myself (sq Saturn) - but I strive to be compassionate (Pisces MC) and grow more into learning (mercury 10h) spiritually through various things(Jupiter). IC could intertwine with Cancer. But my Moon could also be my coping mechanism too. So it's hard to single out anything - even life seem to be that way. Btw this is just my guess - astrology is just a hobby for me. IP: Logged |

I forgot to mention that the Moon also represents our domestic life, no matter where it is in the chart, but especially if it is below the horizon. ------------------ The Declcinations Guy Soul Stars Astrology Gemstone Readings for energy balance and healing We were born for these times. For me I would say it contributes. Cancer is encapsulated in the 8th house, which starts at late Gem and ends in early Leo. My Sun Jupiter is in the 8th Cancer. I had to learn to shut off my Cancer nature and adopt a different way of being. Growing up I was not encouraged to be myself. Deep conversations and emotions were not welcome. My mother, who ruled the house, has a late Gem Moon. She keeps everything surface, they say an 8th house sun also has an absent father. Yes. He was there, still is, but my mother blocks access to him. She takes over conversations directed at him, interrupts, and growing up always told us to not bother him because he had worked all day. As to Kannon's comments. My moon is Cap 2nd house, also encapsulated. (2nd house starts Sag and ends Aqua). Not sure how this relates to my childhood. Maybe learning to keep my emotions to myself. Moon opposite Jupiter so it wasn't easy. They were (and still are) pretty big emotions. But as I age, I realize my own self worth through these feelings. I also have Pisces IC, so this reflects that. I felt lost as a kid. Everything was so vast and overwhelming, and it wasn't until I was an adult and sought counseling that I realized there wasn't anything wrong with me. I think not having access to my Sun and Moon was very confusing to me. I would say I struggle with keeping things under control, when inside my head everything feels out of control. That's Pisces IC to me, combined with my above natal chart placements. IP: Logged |

Stonemoon its so interesting to hear someone with the opposite house. I feel the same lostness with having MC Pisces - I feel lost when I get out in the world. I just had to go with the flow - let go of the control. IP: Logged |
