I know there are previous threads discussing this aspect, but I just wanted to voice an observation i came across recently..With Sun square Saturn in natal, there seems to be a pattern of "stunted growth" in the charts I've studied. But almost in like a "smack in your face" type of way. Like you tearing your ACL a week before a college championship that probably would've landed you in the NBA draft. & stunted growth can look a million different ways depending on a number a factors.. Nipsey Hussle had this aspect and died a year after releasing his first official album. All those years of hard work wasted. He spent almost his entire life working towards that moment only to have his life cut short before fully enjoying it. So much future potential gone. THIS is Sun square Saturn. Any similar experiences? Nipsey isn't the only example I've seen, but the one that sticks out in my mind because of how involved i was with his movement years prior to him going mainstream. I agree. Saturn in hard aspect with the sun is like taking many blows from life. You have to permanetly rebuild, it’s like always having a rock in the way. Btw, Nipsey had a whole Leo stellium which squared Saturn, not only the sun. IP: Logged |

HaHAha (rolls eyes) That was just one example out of many. A little extreme, hmm, maybe. I have the aspect also.. so unless I'm a ghost.. lol. But another example would be.... working 30 years at a job or career only for your company/profession to shut down right before you planned to retire. There will always be some sort of struggle. I love your description of the Sun square Saturn aspect. "Permanently Rebuild" I envy those with Sun trine Saturn.. or even the sextile. I wonder what's it's like to struggle with a little finesse vs constantly feeling like a junkie being dragged by a tractor trailer lol. & yeah Nipsey's chart was quite fascinating the first time I saw it. The synastry between him and Lauren London even more so. All that Leo energy kept in check by Saturn. So a super Le-O without the eGO. Ha. Laugh. Now.Thanks.
In one of his interviews he said he went through every emotion, he just didn't quit.
Truly inspiring for someone with this aspect in their natal chart.

I have this aspect as well and would describe it as being able to acheive your goals, however, it requires strength, creativity and hard work to acheive my goals. Unlike say having Jupiter's energy where things might seem to fall into place a little more easily. I have Sun in Scorpio and Saturn in Aquarius so it might be that fixed energy feels natural to push through obsticals.IP: Logged |

Interesting.🙌🏿I see the Sun as something we "grow" into. It tends to be more consciously expressed when older. And the aspects to it form part & parcel of that deliberate and/or conscious expression. With Sat-Sun aspected individual, you may notice an "elder" or "mature" spirit about them ( even as kids). Something that let's you know that you are dealing with an "Adult" in a child's body. The Saturn- Sun individual themselves may be dealing with a lot of "adult" related issues combined with the personality when young I.e. anxiety, bone disease, skin disease, depression, social fears, abandonment woes, not getting enough support from the relative environment, self doubt etc. Growing up is certainly not a walk in the park for these folks. As part of them developing the inner confidence and "can do" pragmatic approach they'll use later on in life, the Universe "readies" these people by attracting to them situations/birth circumstances that will have them assume some type of responsibility or to "adult" early on. It could be that they have an irresponsible/unreliable Father? So they need to take the lead and be the "head" of the family or be leaned on by the mother? They get the driver's early on so that they can get a part time job driving people around to support the home income? Or they are expected to achieve outstanding results at school in order to lift their family out of poverty? Etc. There is often some type of unspoken responsibility that Saturn gives and (granted) some share of anxiety and self doubt. They typically have no teachers. And if they do, those teachers are unkind to them and harsh. So its like they don't have teachers at all🤷🏿♂️ So as they work through their self esteem issues and doubt.Learn to overcome obstacles in life.Over time, they learn self trust and self confidence. This helps them relax into life in their latter years and be less "stiff". #I wonder if Nipsey has the 8th house connected to the 11th or 10th? I am looking at this I terms of posthumous achievement/success.🤔 IP: Logged |

Ewww..It is a very challenging aspect to deal with in transit, so I surmise as a natal aspect it is hellish...In transit, it felt like someone in power was always blocking my efforts, and standing in the way. Was pointing fingers at me and criticizing me. When I went through such transit, I just kept a low profile and waited for it to pass while grinding my teeth... In hindsight, I have nothing good to say about this transit, other than it only denies you stuff you're not supposed to get...Which is actually pretty good when I think of it. I think when one has this aspect natally, you can either buckle down and be the forever "fight the power" rebel, or become humble and submit to the power. I would look at Jupiter to see what it's doing in the chart, since in the mythology, Jupiter beat Saturn's arse. IP: Logged |

I have a tight orb Saturn in hard aspect with the Sun — I think I’m actually a very lucky person (but I do have some strong Jupiter aspects that might be balancing things out). I second Aries23Degrees— people think that you’re older than you actually are, even as a kid. Lots of issues with an irresponsible/unreliable father. Completely absent bio father. (Although I have a stepfather who is basically my dad, so life compensates ) Was and am friends with people decades older. Take things way too seriously sometimes, especially in the work/health sphere. IP: Logged |

Ugh late bloomer, and much delayed gratification. When I'm up on top I collapse back down. And get back up again. I'm feeling over being born this way today. lol IP: Logged |

i have it and people always think i'm younger than i am, always have my father is extremely materially responsible, but was at work a lot and was only reliable in those ways i once told him i was struggling with suicide ideation and he handed me money for example, but if i needed a ride somewhere or something material that was fine and handled and he's always been reliable in those ways IP: Logged |
