Topic: Do you think a wide conj/square/oppo is stronger then a tight trine/sextile?

I have noticed and think that a tight Sextile and Trine is a more subtle and passive influence than a wide Square, Conjunction and Opposition. Have you also seen the same?
I feel the Trine and Sextile are more pronunced in a chart with mostly Trines and Sextiles but even then i have noticed they can get easily overshadowed by a conj, square or opposition even if it’s just one or two aspects. IP: Logged |

Yes, conjunctions/opp/squares are a lot more stronger than a sextile/trine even if they are tighther.IP: Logged |

Tbh i’m actually surprised they are considered ‘’major’’ aspects but at the same time i do noticed them more than i do the minor aspects haha. IP: Logged |

I also find that the square and opposition express a lot more of the good qualities than trines and sextiles do even if it’s not in a consistent manner. Like for example i find people with hard Moon-Neptune aspects can be more empathic, sensitive, creative and intuitive than those with the trines and sextiles between those two planets. IP: Logged |

Perfectly said SleepyDiary. Trines and sextiles make a lot of people lazy, entitled, and even selfish in real life because the areas of life affected by the aspect is usually easy for them. Hard aspects cause introspection (i hope im using the right word) which forces us to dig. IP: Logged |

Sometimes i shake my head when i read about the Trines and Sextiles and how they ‘’supposedly’’ got all the good qualities of any planet combo while the hard aspects are left with all the bad qualities it has been so inaccurate. IP: Logged |
