And the eradication of human footprint on every aspect of the environmental ecosystem. That's "the future" I want to see☝🏿
I always say that if people really want to look at "the future", they must look at the lowest developed places in the world. Then make an estimate on their probability to "catch up" in 50 years time.
Not much really changes on the lower levels. The "future" spoken of in the movies, is more from the more developed higher levels of some countries (and there aren't many I assure you). Not for the world.
So unless you are speaking of very exclusive places in Japan? Flying cars are a myth to me. And will continue to be fantasy for the next 50 years 🤷🏿♂️
I mostly agree, although for me, it’s the “I can tell you one thing, money doesn’t buy happiness” quote that ends up EVERYWHERE. capitals, because when I was watching a show in January, about rich people, mostly told through their Nannies, I knew that one of them would say that, and it gets me every time. It feels like it’s stated often enough to instill it in our minds, as those with a lot of money, do everything they can to keep it. It may not buy healthy and happy relationships, but it can buy a certain peace of mind. They are covered financially. There was an Australian all over the internet, after speaking at a conference, and stating that unemployment needs to be up again. That the worker bees expect too much. They aren’t grateful enough to just be surviving.
I wouldn’t mind seeing more towns get cleaned up, as long as the locals weren’t priced out of there. I might say more, when I’m more awake.
I used to love space shows, and just recently looked up one from the nineties. But these rich guys who are vying to beat the others, and go to space - I wish they would think about what they can do here, instead of trying to build the first colony on the moon, or something.
