Zodiac signs are imaginary symbols drawn in space to serve as reference points. So you draw a circle and divide it in to 12 houses of 30 degrees each. During the day sun crosses over half the signs and in the night the next half. Also note, the sun actually never passes them though. Example Sun never traverses Aries. So Jesus story is fake too lol. Sorry, Off topic .

If the sun is in Libra in the east then many children born that time and location are all considered Libra ascendants.

Hence Nakshatra or constellation readings are equally important.

I haven't read any book on astro. So Zero degree could mean angle from the spokes of the imaginary wheel .

i thought 0 degree meant that you were the *most* of that sign. e.g. i'm a 0 degree rising so i'm going to *really* embody my rising sign. or that you were supposed to learn something karmically in your life // at the 'beginning' of your life cycle relating to that planet (as opposed to the 29 degree being the 'end')

Ok thanks ! I think too that 0° Sun natives look "most of their sign". And the 0° degree is unique in the 30 degrees of a sign. for exemple 1 is in 1, 10, 19, 28. 0° is unique, not repeated. Maybe the 0° degree contains the pure energy of its sign, before it starts from 1° (starting from 1° : incarnation, birth. 0° : symbolically not born, like the egg, it has the same shape of the egg)

I think that symbolically, the starts is from 1°. so perhaps 0° has another meaning, before the start
