I'm a Taurus sun with libra moon and of course they vibe very well together. My first born son has a pisces sun with virgo moon and even though they're opposite, I think they compliment each other. My best friend has the same combo and I can vibe with that very easily. My chart is full of oppositions so I "get" them.

My youngest has a scorpio sun with an aquarius moon and omg... What an extraordinary oxymoron 😂 there is a tension in him that he creates himself and it tears him down. We're working on coping and reasoning skills as he grows.

What are some of your fave/not fave combos?

Square sun/moon combos are always wild! The tension can be so real, but also some of the realest people!

I'm a little biased to harder aspects between sun/moon as I have a quincunx myself. Scorpio Sun/Gemini Moon.

Most of my family have sextiles and conjunctions- all aspects have such interesting experiences haha

Sag Sun/Cancer Moon.

They work well together (in my case). This because Sun is in the same house as Ketu(South node). This makes my Sun focused on internal things. And Moon in Cancer about internal affairs too.

Both cnj each other, I'm aqua in both luminaries.
They are not merged with other energies (they follow my Venus) though I've by some been mistaken for Gemini, they live in 3rd house and depending upon the system, they are flavored by decans. In second decan of Aquarius are noted as "academic, witty and expressive" - my decan by Lily version is venus and iir chaldean is mercury. So anything outside Uranian/Saturnian might be venus and definitely mercury as this is his house by *tradition*.

My own Capricorn Sun and Sagittarius Moon! I have a clash of personalities. It can be so frustrating balancing the want to play it safe earth side of myself and the adventurous fire side. Almost my entire chart and self is of fire and earth, and I do appreciate having the best of both worlds at times!

Aries Sun, Gemini Moon conjunct Venus. I guess they work well together.

I think my Sun in the 6th matches my Scorpio ascendant, but that ascendant is conjunct Uranus, which is supposed to help with friendliness. I used to talk too much, around people I love, and know well. So, I could feel bad if someone was expecting me to be really quiet all the time, and then they get the chatter when I'm more comfortable. There is a streamer I sometimes watch, who talks like she's on fast-forward, and I wonder if that's what I used to sound like. I don't think I do, anymore.
