How would you interpret Venus conjunct the South Node in a Venus Return chart? The conjunction is exact, in the 6th house, trine the moon in the 1st and square Pluto in the 9th, AND sextile the chart ruler - Mercury - which is deposited in the 7th. Additionally, Sun and Mars are conjunct the DC. Vertex is 7 degrees away from Venus/SN.

Seems HIGHLY significant, but I wonder if the South Node conjunction indicates the return of a previous relationship rather than the start of a new one.

I'm also a little confused about the nature of the return chart - if the Venus return doesn't occur until November 28, then is it predictive of the year ahead (until the next Venus return) rather than simply the year it takes place (2023)?

This person was in an on/off relationship for years and in April this year rebounded with someone new. However, the "new" person is someone he met in 2021 and the VR chart for that year is unremarkable. So I'm also wondering if the VR chart refers to the meeting of a significant other (if at all) or the actual start of a romantic relationship?

I just looked back over my own Venus Return charts, and I had Venus conjunct SN the year I met my former husband. There was some action with angles, nodes, and luminaries, but not the Vertex. My ex that year had action with his angles, nodes, luminaries, AND Vertex, including Venus that year trine the North Node in his 7th house.

However, that's just the year we met. Nothing significant was in my Venus Return chart the year we started dating. However, the year we married, I had action with my angles, nodes, luminaries, AND Vertex - including north node conjunct Vertex and Sun opposite Moon along the MC/IC axis.

So my bet is that the person above might get married or meet his future spouse - depending on whether you consider Venus' (7-degree) wide conjunction to his Vertex valid.

The girl he's dating now has similar activity for the upcoming year - her luminaries, nodes, and MC/IC. But like him, no Vertex involvement. However, like I said, the year they met there was no significant VR chart action.

His ex, however - to whom he was engaged - has action with all four: angles, nodes, luminaries, and Vertex. But I don't know when they met.

Does anyone have data to compare? I'd like to riddle out the Venus Return chart... It seems like it actually doesn't indicate the start of significant relationships, only first meetings, marriage, and divorce. (The year my ex and I divorced I again had activity with angles, nodes, luminaries, and Vertex in my VR chart.)

Also, in all my significant relationship years - whether I met someone, started a relationship, married, or ended a relationship - Venus was always deposited in either the 4th or 6th house AND the chart ruler is one of AND makes aspects to Jupiter, Saturn, and/or Pluto. (For example, chart ruler is Saturn and trines Jupiter; chart ruler is Pluto and conjuncts Jupiter and Saturn.) Only once was the chart ruler one of these three (Pluto) but did not aspect the other two - the year I divorced - and in this case it squared a loose Mercury/Sun/Venus conjunction in the 6th.

How do you create a Venus return chart? Is there an option for it somewhere on Astro.com?

My last Venus return was April 11th, just before my birthday. I don’t remember anything about that week, except for my birthday weekend.

You can do it on astro-seek.com really interesting to do them for years past and see the patterns… I think it can be useful for predictions.

You can calculate any planet's return here - https://horoscopes.astro-seek.com/planet-revolutions-returns

Thanks. I tried earlier, and I'll have another look tomorrow.

I do remember that Jupiter was conjunct my Sun, but the entire year was really hard.

Sorry that’s so big.

I have the Venus-south node conjunction in my natal chart. I’d have to look back at transiting nodes, to see when they got to 0 and 1 Gemini, and coincided with my Venus return.

Hm yeah it would have been around age 18-19 when you had your first nodal return.

What significant developments occurred the year of the chart you posted?

First thing I noticed was Venus in the 7th squaring your MC/IC with Saturn on the IC. Additionally, Uranus is on the DC. A sudden change in partnership that affected your work and home life? Did you move?

Chart ruler Pluto is also trine Venus and Sun is conjunct Jupiter in the 5th. Moon conjunct anti-vertex. Does seem like a big year.
