Topic: Taurus and Libra are quincunx by sign, but have more in common than we think?

I find it funny how supposedly these two signs have nothing in common because they are technically by sign, quincunx/inconjunct, which would suggest that they are completely uncommon but I would have to disagree! They're both ruled by Venus, they just express Venus differently, one more social (libra) while one more value related (taurus). Just my two-cents lol.IP: Logged |

I used to get along with Taurus, but I do find them too materialistic. We shared liking for materialistic and pleasurable experiences. And as I’m moving farther from being down to earth into Neptunian mystery the more different way we get.
Also, their centered energy feels right.

Moon in Libra here.. I second this. Way too materialistic for my taste, but my Scorpio stellium can't help but be attracted anyway. I have a Taurus ASC also so this answer is probably a tad biased lol. I love Taurus and Libra energy,
but more-so Libra when it's the women lol. Venus in Taurus, specifically, is my favorite. So sexy, so charming. Yummy. Moon in Taurus is too stubborn for no reason. I love the unspoken stability though. Sun in Taurus.. my equal <3 while also being a challenge lol. IP: Logged |

I have a Venus in Taurus. My mom and my grandma have both Taurus venus and sun. Libra is a masculine sign and it's far more extroverted than Taurus. What we therefore see is that Libra is more social than Taurus. Libra loves to go out and socialize. Taurus would also be happy to stay at home and cook something or decorate the nest. What I also see is that Taurus and Libra rule different Venus expressions. Libra is very much about the mental idea of love and relationships as they should ideally be. Mental exchange and compatibility are important to Libra. Taurus is about the physical and concrete expression of love in the material world. Touch is our favorite expression of love. Venus in Taurus also asks for material security and loyalty in partnerships. The latter could quickly be perceived as too possessive by Libra.

This is just how I view the Taurus Libra connection. To me it has less to do with Venus and more to do with the Heart chakra. Taurus has that lovely Venusian sweetness that you will find in the Heart while Libra, the scales, supports the point of balance that the Heart holds between the lower and the higher chakras. Saturn represents this balance. The classical planetary order based on the seven planets visible to the naked eye, places Saturn in the Root center. And one may ponder what it means to have the point of balance at the Root versus the Heart. Taurus and Libra is to me all about the Heart, the Earthly reception of Love and the safe space that Saturn creates with its mental structures, for this reception of Love to happen.

Normally, quincunxes don't have much in common, are uncomfortable with each other, don't understand each other, and need to make adjustments to interract. But 2 sets of quincunxes are the exception because they share the same rulers:Taurus and Libra quincunx: Ruled by Venus Aries and Scorpio quincunx: Ruled by Mars Having the same ruler help them understand each other better and of course, their interraction is easier. I had a job once, where I was surrounded by like six, or seven, Taureans.
Me, being a Sagittarius, was surprised that I got along with them. You know? Like, cookbook astrology, and the usual, is that Taurus and Sagittarius don't get along!Libras- I get along with them for awhile but then I find the bad ones too dodgy then I might ghost them! ------------------

Lmao. I worked with a Taurus and a Sagittarian, both were equally ranked managers. Then me the Gemini being hired on as a sorta in-between both of them. Found out on my first day that they didn't get along. I complimented the Taurus for having his PMI and scrum certification at his desk. The Taurus took the complement well, not to be undone the Sagittarian got all smart aleck and responds by saying he just printed it off, lol. Other then that the two men just stayed away from each other and never got into each others business. They stayed within the constraint of their managerial authority. Anyway I find Taurus and Libra have the same desire for peace in the workplace and competency. My Planets

Long time ago, I hung out with Taurus and Saggy came in. It was like hate at first sight. I don’t think I’ve ever seen something like that, intense silent repulsion with no reason. I thought they gonna start to hiss at each other. They couldn’t be around each other longer than 2 minutes. But tried occasionally to find out what the other was up to. It might be due to other inconjunctions and aspects they have.
