Even my old female friends sometimes feel uncomfortable with my presence. When they see me, I see that they are deeply saddened.

I have a Moon/Venus conjunction in my 10th - it took me forever to realize that people, especially other women, were jealous of me and were trying to undermine my confidence and attack me due to their own insecurities. DO NOT take other people's behavior personally. Like I said, you just need different friends - friends who are more secure in themselves.

A Leo moon like yours has an unshakable confidence that most of us simply don't have and instinctively envy and feel threatened by. Actually, my best friend is a Virgo sun/Leo moon like you, and she gets A LOT of the same kind of treatment. So does my Cap sun/Leo moon friend. It's a strong combination, but do NOT dim your light - those fools can wear sunglasses. Find people who are on your level.

Like you, I also have Mercury close by the MC, and the Sun in the northern hemisphere too. Having so much light and intellect where the public can see does intimidate others, especially intellectually.

She has always struggled with being found intimidating. Hell, even I've been guilty of feeling some type of way around her. It has been a real source of pain for her. Recently things have been amplified. Turned up to 11. Sasha is way more knowledgeable and can probably pinpoint the culprit but I would bet dollars to donuts it's a transit messing with an aspect you and my friend share.

What I see is that your moon falls into your 8th house. You can probably easily feel other people's emotions and might experience yourself intense emotions because 8th house is the natural house of Scorpio. As a Virgo I ask you to not be too self-critically. My grandpa is Virgo and I know that Virgo's can be their own harshest critics.

Pluto in the 12th house. Deep Soul Navigation has excellent videos on YouTube about Pluto placements and ask you to watch her explanation about Pluto in the 12th house. It is really helpful and insightful.

I would also take current transits into account to see what's really going on. Saturn is in Pisces which is the opposite sign of your sun and Mars. There is also late Neptune still in Pisces which made past efforts (Mars) tough and added confusion when it comes to your identity (sun) and thoughts (3rd house).

Saturn in Pisces will go through your 3rd house and could create a heavy and melancholic mind during this period of time. I had this transit and kindly ask you to try everything to stay positive!!
