Topic: South Node vs North Node

I have the south node in Aqua in the 5th conjunct aqua moon and saturn so it's very heavy in the house of joy/children and pleasure. If I were to look for my vocation or soul's purpose( or some relief), would I look to my 11th house Leo North Node?I've googled it but would like to hear your answers. IP: Logged |

Yes, but for you i think it will be more challenging to tap into your North node since your Moon is conjunct your South Node so i think it’s very easy for you to be wrapped up in your South node rather than your North. I also have the same aspect as you and it is not easy for me to direct and devolop my North node qualities. Also are you into Numerology? If so look to see what your Soul urge number and Life path number is to see what you are supposed to be doing in this life. Often times i have seen that the Life Path and Soul Urge number can resemble the North Node of a person. Like with me i have a Life path and Soul Urge number 4 and my North node is Capricorn both the 4 and Capricorn is here to work,focus on goals and be more practical and organized. IP: Logged |

Your Nodes aren't your career (or vocation), in general, just to remind you. That's more of your Midheaven/10th house stuff!Whenever I see 'scrambled' Node placements like this, it just seems like the universe is asking you to ride a teeter totter. ------------------

The North Node can definitivly have an influence on what Career path you take since it is the path you are supposed to take in this life. A lot of times people will ‘’take’’ their North node to their 10th house for example a Cancer MC and a Capricorn North node might be someone who has pursued a Cancerian career field but ends up in positions that are very typical of Capricorns like a Kindergarden assistent that ends up being the head of their field with a lot more responsibilities or the opposite might occur where they have pursued a more ‘’Capricorn’’ field but how they went about it is more in the style of Cancer or they are known in their work place as having a more Cancerian attitude in regards to their work. The 6th house too also has an influence on your work like having Aquarius there might have someone liking some sense of Freedom and space in their work place. IP: Logged |

Taking all your very interesting answers into account, my life path is a 5 and soul's urge is a 3 so that seems very much like a Leo NN- creative( acting, art, writing, singing), some leadership qualities( not so sure about this one) but mainly creative. I have a Gemini MC and 6th house virgo cusp so that would lean with my Virgo ascendant towards writing( I love literature and enjoy finding the perfect word). Also have a keen interest in art and am drawn to artists as I find them to be very open minded to new experiences and they have that divine spark.I also really had fun with The Artist's Way by Julia Cameron.Thanks to all for answering and your insights are very helpful.IP: Logged |

Your Life Path and MC is very aligned i think versatility and change is very good for your Soul and your 6th house is also Mercury ruled so you are definitivly here to put your mind into work and your Soul Urge and North node are aligned both very creative influences so with all that Mercury ruled influence on your Life path, MC and 6th house plus the creativeness of your North node and Soul Urge i think a field where you can use your mind to be creative but also have some change and versatility is very good for you.
