But the guys you attract might also have a major Moon-Venus aspect in their charts which can have them be drawn to Taurean/Libra types or have one of these in the 2nd house, or Pluto or 8th house might influence those planets in their charts which might explain their attraction to Scorpio/Pluto types.

Sun to Ascendant is just one aspect of synastry! I'm just sayin it's one factor!
