Hi,I can only brainstorm based on my own experience of having my chart ruler (Jupiter) in my 8th house... My experiences with 8th house themes are very exaggerated compared to the people around me (trauma, karma, transformational healing, shadow work, death, inheritance, other people's resources, secrets, occult, intimacy or the lack thereof etc). Jupiter expands whatever it touches, and given that the Vertex is a point of fated meetings and circumstances, usually involving another person, I would hazard a guess that anyone who comes into your life aspecting your Jupiter/Vertex was sent to you in order to help you learn/experience the exaggerated 8th house themes (which must be of significance to your soul in this incarnation, if you believe in such things). Learning 8th house lessons is a murky, hard, painful road at times, but although Jupiter is there blowing these themes up even more, it offers it's luck, protection and blessings at the same time. It's almost like, no matter what darkness you go through, there is some unexplainable glimmer of undying hope deep within and an uncanny ability to drag yourself back up that not a lot of humans possess, and learn valuable lessons from pain (eventually even seeing the humour and being able to laugh at the madness of it all). Jupiter in 8th is less like the happy, gregarious King of the sky archetype, and a bit more serious like the bold, brave, undaunted and righteous St Michael archetype (if that makes sense), but still remaining kind, generous and positive in the face of Plutonian adversity.
