considering chinese astrology is way more than just the year a person is born, but that's mostly what people know it's highly likely most people will think they can't relate. actual chinese astrology gives you a chart with signs based on day, month, minute and not just year + the elements matter. i had a very good reading once from someone who knew it, wasn't much different ultimately than western or vedic. it all sorts itself out and still is me, it's no different than using runes, tarot, or lenormand to answer the same question. you'll get the same result just told from a different perspective. The relationship compatibility is often what most people disagree with, but that is because the Inner Companion isn't addressed or even known. It is analogous to the Ascendant/Rising. IP: Logged |

Yes I can! I am a Fire Dragon and my Asc is a Wood Dragon if I don't recall wrong. If I were to read into it some more: Dragon is the 5th sign, I have my moon in 5H natal and my Life Path is 5. IP: Logged |

Yes. Sure. I can relate to it a lot.I and my husband were born in the year of Fire Rabbit. Based on our birthday, I'm an Earth Rabbit in the month of Water Ox. My husband is a Metal Rabbit in the month of Fire Horse. My daughter was born in the year of Earth Dog and based on her birthday, she is a Wood Dog in the month of Metal Monkey. As a family, we're pretty much having a nice flow and rarely having a problem in the relation to each other. It is said that Rabbit and Dog is compatible to each other and I think it's easy to say, yes. Our most problem usually is coming from third party/person, especially in my relationship with my husband, because he likes having relation to other people and sometimes doesn't know the boundaries meanwile I appear isolated and detached because I have boundaries, I don't just let other people influence my way of thinking that easy. I can see the characteristic of Horse in him and Ox in me. But again, I think we should also look into the western astrology (or open to other knowledge), because since I have Sagittarius in my natal chart, the Ox characteristic in me can tolerate freedom in others even encourage them and having fixed mercury sign, the Ox characteristic in me is very strong in a way not gonna change my mind that easy just because the opinion of one person, no matter how close the person is to me. I will usually have a lot of consideration to make before I'm fixed to it. It is fun to know more knowledge to understand more about our own self or understanding our surrounding. IP: Logged |

i'm tiger year too (fire i think? might be wood) but i remember my chart also having double monkeys in it, pig and snake. the monkey bit creates tension with the tiger i was told. IP: Logged |
