I have been meaning to make this topic for a while now. Have you ever heard the warnings not to look at the lunar eclipse moon?! I think I first heard this from having to read Tom and Huckleberry Finn about someone going nuts on those moons. Moons do so much stuff but since it’s so fast I figured that’s too exhausting to pay attention to. I have been learning the moon ain’t nothing to underestimate! And trying to pay better attention. The eclipse in March was hard for me! I felt super venerable disregulated fed up not in a good headspace triggered AF. Defeated, not trusting, no one gets me. I can’t handle this happening anymore. I haven’t been that rock bottom with my self esteem in 15 years. It was in my 5 house. But the only major aspect it made was squaring my Jupiter Cancer house two. The math tracks! My optimism and self esteem and getting emotionally regulated is very challenged and not good. Harder than people know for me to come out and play after working all week. After that weekend I started to do something’s out of my comfort zone to work on my self esteem. Another thing is keeping up with the information about lingering eclipse energy. I felt it so hard last month. It was a battle to not spiral to that level again. I felt better a few days leading up to the eclipse. The last one was the opposite! It sextiles my Saturn. But I got information from lunatic astrology. To not look at this moon, don’t charge your rocks make moon water etc. Because she said her and everyone she knows life “went to hell in a handbaskit. I knew to take the advice because of how I was feeling leading up to it. And other reasons I won’t get into. Well Laurie(sp lunatic astrology) said she stayed in and meditated and she reached a new level of success on her YouTube channel. Can any eclipse wizards tell me why the full moon eclipses that are usually about letting go, but when it’s a non eclipse full moon it’s about manifesting???? Oh and by the way I got my period on this eclipse. What are “the rules” for solar eclipses besides not staring at it for physical reasons? What are your thoughts? Do you hold any eclipse practices?

The moon is fine (at night), but you aren't supposed to look at the sun, until it is 100% eclipsed. I didn't know that was okay, so I wasn't looking at it when everyone else was. I was watching on a site, on my iPad. You can injure your eyes, looking at it before totality. IP: Logged |

Interesting how the solar is nono for physical, and lunar is nono for psychological IP: Logged |

I am getting run down at my job a lot. I only have 3 PTO days left for the whole year. This is kind of a moral failing for me, but I am done going into work if I don’t feel good. Well in relations to the eclipse in March once I am under 1000 dollars in my checking I stop spending money until my next paycheck. Also in September I started doing this monthly meditation webinar…it’s my church. between classes there are journaling prompts , meditations, and visual works etc to do The eclipse with Pisces trined my Saturn I got more disciplined with not drinking and starting to cut caffeine…I think this evergy will stay strong with the NN transiting Pisces soon. Saturn Capricorn is my 9th house I’m not a Jupiter dominant person, but I have a lot of Jupiter things going on. I was born on Thursday(Jupiter day( The Jupiter rx is in my first house and went in the shadow zone the same degree as my asc. It will go stationary direct in my 12th house in February IP: Logged |

I was just thinking about the eclipses this year, re: Luigi Mangione. At least on his Mercury, back in the spring. Someone said that he has a pisces ascendant, but I don’t know their source. IP: Logged |

I remember reading that Vedic astrology says do not look at eclipses, that it is supposedly a bad omen to look at eclipses. Ancient people supposedly veiled their faces and avoided looking at eclipses...Well, I suspect it is partly because looking at certain eclipses without specialized glasses which did not exist back then could damage the eyes. That makes sense. But as for the bad omen thing, I think it is typical fatalistic vedic astrology... IP: Logged |

What this has to do with the thread?

That’s right, I think the eclipse in September was in Pisces. I wonder how that hit his chart. IP: Logged |

I’m certainly not an expert. I would think it’s situational. I got too many omens to not look at it. The next day someone I know who is open about being unstable went. Out side and took a picture of it. IP: Logged |

never heard it put in a "dont even look at it way" but i'm unsurprised people are like that about it. the idea is that eclipses are intense and hard to control energy (you're dealing with rahu/ketu when they happen not just the moon) and there's a sense of finality to those events. it's precautionary measures blown out of proportion essentially, but some people live by it. 🤷♀️ it's safer to be scared of intense energy and not touch it is essentially what's behind it, and while that's true safe and rewarding dont always come together. also lunar eclipses only happen during full moons which have a long history of being associated with **** going down anyway. you feeling the strong energy isnt surprising that all being said IP: Logged |

I’ll be sure to let you know if I look at any in the future. I stared at the last solar one with the glasses. IP: Logged |

Almost everyday is hocus Pokus day for me. The newest thing I’m getting into is planetary days and hours. I did a gratitude ritual yesterday on Sunday in the hour of Jupiter. I’m glad there is a site that can calculate. I was even able to look up my planetary hour . Hour of the sun. IP: Logged |
