It seems like a lot of Leo Risings have been struggling a ton in 2024, common themes being job loss and financial struggles.

When do they catch a break?

Both my partner and I are Leo risings (1 degrees of Leo) and neither of us have experienced financial or job issues. If anything it’s been the opposite for both of us…

I don't think your issues have to do with being Leo rising...

Trump is Leo rising, Lol.... I know irl 2 other Leo rising who are doing quite well.

There could be other things in your chart that explain why you're not catching a break...

@ChildOfVenus, @plutonianmenace, the three of us have Asc at 27* Leo. But there are other things to look at. We have already discussed OPs chart elsewhere, and he/she is having transit Uranus on his MC and squaring Asc. It’s a big part of his/her struggles now. But that’s also individual. Not everyone will have issues with that transit. I’ve been going through the same transits and have no problems with work - a lot is going on but it’s good stuff. Good stuff when it comes to new, independent projects.
It’s a struggle when we are not in alignment, so there are probably some adjustments in the approach that need to be made or some changes in the career path. Uranus will make you want to reject authorities at any cost, and that can even be subconscious if you are generally agreeable person. Maybe think about if that plays a part… you want to go your own way but you still have to play the game with the people who are supposed to pay you. Saying this also from the experience as I have Uranus square Leo Asc natally. I have a “problem” with authority figures even though I act super mellow. I learned that I have to play the game, whatever it is (even when I hate it inside) until I have the ability to call the shots on my own terms. I don’t respect most people with authority and they can probably sense it so I had to become aware of it and make the best out of it. Transit Uranus can cause similar reactions. People will sense your energy.
This is only a problem when you want your freedom and independence and are not able to get it yet. And Uranus transit is all about wanting more freedom to be true to yourself. Don’t act too rebellious with people who pay you - do what you need to do to get $, and plan the next step.

Edit: Especially as a Leo, you want to be in charge to some degree. Have you thought about using this creative energy to start your own independent work? This is a lot of fast energy. Maybe you feel stuck because you need to think outside of the box and circumvent the obstacles, faster.

at any given time any one placement could be having a hard time, but how a transit acts is going to be colored by the whole chart not just a single piece of it. like ok... if something aspects my ascendant there's a good chance then the it also aspects my venus. mars, uranus, mercury, moon all at the same time along with it or some combination of them. someone else though that same transit might only hit their ascendant and be less pronounced, not to mention how the things that are hit by a transit are aspected natally affect how a transit is felt. if your uranus is harshly aspected transits that touch it can be more difficult than if there's easy energy flow. i'm sure there's lots of people with all 12 rising signs who can say they have it bad right now, in fact i could probably safely guarantee that you will.

+ perspective does a lot too. i'm a libra rising in tropical (heavily aspected too conjunct venus, sextile uranus and mercury, square mars, and opposite moon) and i've got some less than fun **** going on. one is a sword of damocles feeling situation that'd be pretty terrible if i were to bother dwelling on it instead it barely crosses my mind and when it does i use it as a reason to appreciate anymore. the other is some intense stuff with an old friend who's been mad at me since a 2 day ghosting thing almost a year ago and has been engaging in all kinds of smear tactics and so on to get a rise out of me. sucks but 🤷‍♀️ on the bright side i appreciate people im close to more now and i forget the person who's going off about me even exists more often than not. so it's all fine ultimately, nothing that affects my day to day negatively, but it could if i were someone else who had more feelings about the whole thing or whatever. if i were to stumble on this thread and it said libra rising i could throw that sh*t out there as issues and blame that and confirmation bias myself into accepting that, but it'd mean f*ckall in terms of how transits hit people regardless.

I realized that not only does Trump have a Leo Rising but so does JD Vance and it is the same degree as mines! WTF man.

Anyways, life updates. Things actually started to take a turn for the better somewhat around Mid November or so. I got a new job, finally. Not only did I get a new job but come December, I got lucky with a bonus that I hit by dumb luck and will take home more money than expected.

I long read that 2024 was supposed to be an awful year of Leo Risings and I endured the biggest unemployment stint since forever. However, as I am reading more forecasts about Leo Risings, it seems like 2025 is supposed to be that big relief and that big break. Like 2025 is when things turn around for the best.
