I got really sick with the symptoms of a parasite, and had extreme fatigue afterwards. I didn’t eat for three weeks, except for spoonfuls of pudding, here and there. I lived in ice water, and hydration drinks (drip drop, mainly). I could barely watch tv, or any screens, so I was listening a lot. That’s when I found my first podcast - I don’t listen to them much. I would think that I was getting better, and then be hit with another fever. This was all on top of my usual stomach problem. They felt different. I had dealt with fatigue, my mum thought I was anemic, but this was unreal. This was the parasite: http://my.clevelandclinic.org/health/diseases/17957-cyclosporiasis

Four months before, I’d been in the hospital briefly. Uranus was in my 6th house. I have sun opposed Uranus widely, and I lost my mother when it was conjunct my ceres/chiron/sun, about eighteen months before that. I have Uranus conjunct ascendant, so it opposed my ascendant, too. That was a very difficult year. The following one felt like a recovery year, finally, and then Covid happened, lol.

I am enroute. Will only be able to tell you the outcomes once there.

The square(which happened when i started varsity) was AWESOME. Uranus ingressed into Pisces in 2003. What a time it was. My whole life expanded.

Around the degree square(2005), I changed majors and took on a different route. It delayed me graduating(yes). But that's Uranus too.

This one will coincide with what people have deemed a "mid life crisis". And this sounds true for me. As it will be around this transit that i expect many changes in my life. Things have been kinda stale.

I am already feeling the restlessness. And the ingress of Uranus in Gemini later this year widely opp my Uranus in Sag 10Sag, will be a preview to let me know what to look out for in 2026 onwards.

I checked charts of my friends... One had a lot of turbulence related to work and career. Uranus was transiting her 10th house. She is back to doing more independent work now and things are more settled. Another friend changed his life a lot - moved to another country etc. Others, I don't know, not everyone goes through big changes I guess.

@teasel, that sounds like a lot. Thank you for sharing! Deserving of a recovery year. I lost my father around the time Neptune crossed my Sun+Desc (Neptune rules my 8th, and my father was quite Piscean). My mother is not doing great now... transit Uranus (10th) will oppose my natal Uranus (4th), square Sun etc.

@Aries23Degrees, so nice that the square was that good for you. Interesting, I also changed universities before my Uranus square. But I have other planets involved that I felt were more of a factor. Fingers crossed the opposition will shake things up in a good way.

I have the opposition coming in May/June/July until next Spring (square Asc, square Sun, square Mercury, opposite Uranus - in that order within 2 degrees). All I know is that this year will be intense. I've been frustrated with my work for a long time, and even though I had a lot of moments when I said I absolutely have to quit because it is affecting my mental health, I'm anxious about the changes. I am starting a conversation about it at work, I'll try to arrange a transition period...
There are way too many other things happening in other areas of life too. It's scary at times. It will take a whole year probably to reshuffle and settle into something new. I also want to move.

It doesn't feel like a midlife crisis from the movies, where people just wake up suddenly and rebel. It is more of a culmination, or a period where things are ripe for action, in all the areas where I wanted to make changes. I do feel like this is a window of opportunity, with an energy surge. Good, as scary as it is.
