Obviously I believe in past lives in general, but this is the first time I've ever thought I could pinpoint a historical candidate or apply investigative astrology to back it up. It's all very new and strange to me.

So, I've come here to get some grounding from people who may believe the same as me, but are objective enough to reign me in if I'm over thinking it or missing an obvious reason for the coincidences. I've made hypothetical notes of my own interpretations underneath each aspect of interest, but please note I am taking all this with a pinch of salt and understand I could just resonate with this figure BECAUSE of our similar astrology, rather than the astrology itself having deeper metaphysical meaning. It's a bit of a theoretical exercise all in all.

Him: 28° Scorpio sun (natal)
Me: 29° Scorpio sun
(His life might be my previous Scorpio themed lesson, a big one - he was executed)

Him: 27° Sagittarius sun (progressed death date)
Me: 27° Sagittarius ascendant
(I entered through the door his soul left open, so to speak)

Him: Jupiter in Scorpio (natal and progressed)
Me: Jupiter in 8th House conjunct Vesta
(he became a political martyr and I inherited a conspiracy theory level of distrust in politicians and authorities)

Him: Jupiter 25° Scorpio (progressed death date)
Me: Mars 25° Scorpio
(His philosophy on tenacity through trauma became my driving force in life)

Him: North Node 10° Leo (progressed death date)
Me: North Node 10° Capricorn in 1st House
Also me: Chiron 9° Leo
(His fate became my karmic wound, and we have very similar themed nodal destiny in general)

Him: Chiron 29° Gemini (progressed death date)
Me: DC 27° Gemini
(His tragic, bittersweet love story is the stuff of legend, the last thing he did before execution was marry his gf in the gaol chapel... Interesting to note that my current life partner has the same exact to the ° Nodal axis as said gf in her progressed-to-death chart, and a few other interesting overlays... )

Him: Vesta 10° Capricorn (progressed death date)
Me: North Node 10° Capricorn
(His "devotion until death" nature comes through to help me in my Saturn-dominated life - Capricorn and Scorpio stelliums!)

Him: South Node 10° Aquarius (progressed death date)
Me: Pluto 10° Aquarius (draconic)
(The power to transform past societally/hierarchically-inflicted wounds, perhaps. As it was the SN at the time of his death, I would be lenient enough to interpret it as "unresolved things that will be carried through, for better or worse" if I was reading for someone else)

Him: Moon 18° Aquarius (natal)
Me: Sun 19° Aquarius (draconic)

His progressed draconic Chiron sits at a 0°16" away from my draconic sun.

I would usually only take tight orb conjunctions for something as theoretical as this, but I noticed an exact square between his progressed draconic Vesta and my natal sun too, which is on theme...

There are others, but I'll stop there.

So, if anyone is willing to give their two pence on all this fun stuff, I'd very much appreciate it.
