Pluto will be transiting my husband's DC next year. It's 4 degrees Aquarius. We are happily married. I am 58 and he is 60. Does anyone know what this could mean? His dad is 90 and his mom is 82, both are in relatively good health for their age. Thank you!!

Pluto in 7th in his chart would also be indicative of what's going on with you. There could be changes looming in terms of your life that indirectly affect him as your spouse(the partnership effect).

Look to you own chart for changes in around the same time that Plu transits his Dsc degree. The clues could be there.

Pluto is a very slow moving planet. So a transit through the 7th house indicates a slow and long term shift in the matters of the 7th house. This could be a desire for more depth in one-on-one interactions, or a general interest in the psychology of relations. Pluto likes to dig, wants vulnerability, wants to know what is hidden, does not shy away from taboos and can be very confrontational. But the transit is not very acute, it's more of a slow awakening as time progresses.

Aspects to planets, ASC or MC (within 1 degree orb) are experienced with much more urgency. Pluto crossing the DSC is an aspect of Pluto opposition ASC. This could mean he could be questioning the way he presents himself in personal interactions. He has the opportunity to confront himself with what truly aligns with him. There could be doubt and fear involved when it comes to his identity. Escpecially when he has not yet examined this before or has made choices to please others and is now not aligned with himself. This could lead to a personal crisis and impact your relationship as a consequence. But if he has worked on himself and is already very comfortable in examining his own shadow, this most likely will not be a challenging period.

If Pluto retrogrades within 1 degree of the ASC, the period in which the sense of urgency will be felt will last longer.

And I agree with Aries23Degrees it's a good idea to look at your own chart as well. But not just Pluto. It's good to know if you are more sensitive to certain developments in the same time period.
