Interesting questions.Without oversimplifying astrology, I would probably say that for betrayal, I would look at adverse Neptune influences in natal, synastry and/or transit. No answer for abandonment... IP: Logged |

I was under a heavy Neptune transit when I dealt with bad betrayal. One member of my family lost their mind, basically accusing me of that, because I set a boundary. My mother also became an alcoholic around the same time. And I dealt with crap online, but had friends who backed me up. Uranus might, through impulsive choices. Are you asking for transits where it happens to you, or the person doing that? Or both? IP: Logged |

For me, personally, it's Mars. Mars rules knives, and sharp things. Stabbed (Mars) in the back! And emotional violence (Mars)! However, Neptune and Pluto play second, and third place. ------------------

I think Neptune plays a role in abandonment.And also the Atropos asteroid (which relates to "ending"). this asteroid was prominent in transit when I've been abandoned by a friend recently (in my first house or conjunct ascendant) But I'm wondering what is " the" planet that is characterized for abandonment and the one for betrayal…

I remember the Orcus plutino which is a trans-Neptunian object. I read about it long time ago, around 2012. I remembered this plutino relates to "agreements" in astrology.Actually it is about honoring promises... or betraying promises and the eternal punishment that follows. IP: Logged |

Uranus is inconsistent and unreliable what feels like betrayal and abandonment if you have expectations.
