Hello All,The past few years have been a doozy for me, long, long, long, story short, I am now trying to get back on my feet, I'd like to know when I will be finally done with the Pluto Square Sun transit? Any feedback will be appreciated! Thank you! I have included the chart below for the day it's supposedly completed, on 10/22. The link provided is the best I can do. Your Sun is at 1.23 degree of Taurus. Usually the effect of transiting planets aspecting natal planets can be felt up to 2 or 3 degrees after the aspect has separated. Pluto is a SLOW moving planet, going back and forth over degrees, so it takes a while for the square to finally be over. In your case, after Pluto moves past 3 degrees of Aquarius FOR GOOD, you will stop feeling the effects of the square. Looking at an ephemeris, around January 27 because after that, it will not go back to 3 degrees of Aqua. Pluto transits are about shedding what does not serve us. I would use that time to make sure I have eliminated all the deadwood in my life. IP: Logged |

Hello Belage2,Thank you so much for your reply! I really appreciate it very much. And thank you for the clarification as well. Eventhough I was a bit off with date of completion with the transit, at least I only have until January to go through it. Yes, there’s alot I’ve had to clear out of my life. And I’m still in the process of it. Lots of harsh realities as well. This transit is literally a whole college course of life. Nonetheless, I’m grateful to be experiencing it for better and for worse. I genuinely feel I’m becoming a better person for it. IP: Logged |

Sorry to hear that. Sounds like a sucky time indeed... I briefly studied parallels and contra parallels when I was into Magi astrology but I never really got good at it so I can't offer much astrological insight. But I would say that as with all Plutonian hard aspects, do take a hard look at what it is you need to get rid of in your life, and focus on surviving that transit.

I just checked the ephemeris and it looks like it goes into 3° exactly on January 11th. I never thought degrees were such a huge part in transits!

I’m sorry Belage2, I think I might have confused myself (lol) do you mean once Pluto moves past 3° then into 4° I’ll stop feeling the effects, or once it solely moves in 3°? Please forgive my confusion. I’m having a moment 🤣IP: Logged |

I GOT IT! I just checked and it’ll go into 4° February 11th. It was sooner than I thought. My apologies for the confusion. Thank you! IP: Logged |

No worries, Bella. Anyway some people stop feeling the square effects once it moves past 1 or even 2 orbs only. I just like to keep a minimum of 3 degree orb of definitive separation just to be on the safe side. Many years ago, Uranus was opposing my Mars, so I drove carefully the entire time, avoided highways as much as possible, drove the speed limit everywhere, and just when I thought I was safe because Uranus was now 3 degree separation past the opposition, a weird Uranian incident happened. Aaarrrghhh!!! IP: Logged |

Hmmm...sorry Belage. I think from my description, it is actually Neptune square Sun. Pluto square Sun is about power struggles. Either others exert power over you that is oppressive and forces you to stand up for yourself and redefine not only how they see you. But also how u see yourself. Or it could mean that you gain power that you exert over others. This power (when taken to extremes)can make you the victimizer. So you need to learn when to push forward and when to lean back. The square energy in the first instance of being bullied, is you accessing the "fight or flight" mode. Where your need to survive and fight is triggered. In the second instance, there could be a ruthlessness towards the pursuit of a goal. This leads to extremes in terms of approach i.e. "the ends justifies the means" perspective. This even if those means are unethical, immoral or dangerous. An example is if you want to start a business. You might want to bypass advisors and anyone who(in your head) wants to delay or distract from that. You may use ALL resources to make that business up and running (even if it means you run the risk of being homeless). Getting to your goal, is ALL that matters. Nothing else. IP: Logged |

If you're interested, a mythological perspective offers richness and depth in understanding Pluto transits. I liken this transit as a descent into what the Greeks called the "Underworld," which in our modern era equates with Pluto. A descent into the Underworld in modern terms would equate with things like a depression, a major, possibly life threatening illness, or a major stripping away of what we identify with, if not literally confronting mortality, what you describe as a feeling of dying. It's a good time to explore the unconscious, dreams, inner guides, or work with a therapist or healer. During a Pluto transit to the 4H, I came upon Sylvia Brinton Perera's "Descent to the Goddess," which gives great insight into major Pluto transits. Perera is a Jungian analyst so being familiar with Jungian terms would be helpful. IP: Logged |

I had this transit in my late 20’s early 30’s. I became a lead preschool teacher. Got my bachelors degree. Horrible bosses, annoying co workers at times. I got engaged, married, divorced. I barely had a life outside of work and my relationship. Covid happened. Also at one point Jupiter and Saturn and other planets squared my sun. I called it the Capricorn conga line. Or the gang bang. I still feel like I am recovering from this transit. This transit has been over for me for a while. Since then I have decided that I don’t need to be the lead teacher. I’m in the public schools now as the associate teacher and I make more money than I did as a lead teacher in the private schools. I have great benefits and insurance now too. Also after this transit I had my Uranus square mars transit so I spent my early 30’s blowing off steam from the oppression and boringness I experienced in my late 20’s early 30s IP: Logged |
