Both natally and transit-wise

I can speak to the conjunction natally… I know two people (who used to be a couple interestingly) who have Saturn widely conjunct their MC. One also has Sun conjunct and the other Mars conjunct.

But the similarities are - both have stayed employed in jobs that are secure, with good benefits and pay, for over 10 years, and are probably needing to move onto other work. So struggle to move away from stability in work, into something that they might enjoy more - to take the risk.

Although they are both good at what they do, there doesn’t seem to be any deeper meaning in it for them or if there was it is now long gone. Both have strong skills in other areas but keep that separate from paid work.

Action is associated with the midheaven. In that "the good/ill that men/ women do precedes them". So it also ties into the reputation.

Saturn is about setting boundaries ,limitations and rules. So when connected to the midheaven, its about being the authority OR dealing with authority themes.

Saturn is also about pragmatism and logic. Its about the grind and hard work that builds something steady and strong. And for that, you need a grounded and solid approach. To sometimes take the long way around and do this properly(even if its manual) .

So when on the Midheaven, one's reputation / vocation is linked to developing pragmatism, having a "no frills and nonsense" approach, being dutiful and honing discipline through focus and consistency( whatever the profession or role is that they play in life).

They ARE the bar standard and life will give them responsibilities that will impose harsh conditions that they will have to soldier through.

In these conditions, they will develop the skill and necessary personal depth to take on meaningful roles later in life for effective change i.e. politicians, renowned public figures, managers, presidents etc.

Saturn also rules Aqaurius. So Saturn suggests that one has the ability to be innovative and change greater society in a sustainable way (especially when linked to the Midheaven)
