What's the difference between Pluto aspecting the Midheaven and Pluto aspecting the Midheaven ruler? I have an exact trine between 5H Sag Pluto and Aries MC, and a in conjunction between that Pluto and my Taurus Mars. I'm curious about if they would be interpreted differently in general.IP: Logged |

The Pluto/MC aspect is my closest but still. IP: Logged |

In terms of transits, cnjunctions, oppositions and squares suggest BIG shifts in the career/home life. They are usually quite disruptive and change the face of one's life tremendously (and even irrevocably). It could be the death of a family member resulting in attaining money and buying your own property? The birth of a child that requires a change in terms of priorities and where to live? A marriage that introduces you to a new society(like Meghan Markle)? Maybe a health sitiation that leads to a downgrade and condensing of one's life? Or even a job situation which affects the domestic environment and requires relocation to a foreign land? Etc. Due to the slow and "once in a lifetime" effect of Pluto on the natal angles, it is usually an important and significant period in one's life. Don't ignore declinations.Pluto packs a punch.Transiting Pluto Aqua is semi-sextile and parallel my Sun right now.Ego stripping in progress? Yes.Painful? Yes. Transiting Pluto parallel my Mc and conjunct natal Mercury in 2016, changed my world and rearranged my family status. It can't be reversed.

I'd say natally Pluto in aspect to MC ruler is more intense.Overall with both, the person's job is something they're very passionate about and points to a person who has the potential to ruthlessly follow their dream path, and sacrifice hobbies or friends for their job, even if down the road they face betrayal from people who help them go up. I wouldn't look at it to be as intense as the above aspects mentioned.Sextiles and trines work like a well oiled machines. It could be a situation that facilitates another aspect in the chart. What does your chart look like? IP: Logged |

I know someone with Pluto conjunct MC in Scorpio. This resonates strongly.
