Topic: Air Rising and Tousled Hair

For those who got air AC or a planet in an air sign in close aspect to their rising, do you have naturally tousled hair that looks like it's been blown in different directions even if you've been indoor all day?Or do you have tiny curls at the edges of your hair that are arched back even if your hair is mostly straight? 
My own hair is like that around my temples, even though my strands are as flat as they come. I have an air planet exactly opposite my AC. Wondering if others with air rising or air-flavored rising can attest to this observation.
I've tried a lot to tame and train the tiny curls but recently been thinking I should just give up lol. IP: Logged |

Easily refutable. For instance the person in the picture does not have flat hair but wavy hair, and I attached it as an example only. I am not sure... I think what you are referring to is type of hair that is just hard to keep tidy, regardless of how thick, thin or curly it is?
I started thinking about people I know, and immediately thought of someone whose hair is extremely stubborn and always stays aligned the same way. It's the opposite of what you are asking about. He is Capricorn rising.
Maybe better examples will come to mind.My hair "has life of its own" as my hairstylist would say. I just let it be. Leo rising, Aquarius Sun. The only way to keep it tidy is in a tight bun with hair gel. IP: Logged |

Yes, trying to figure out if tousled hair can be considered a telltale sign of air influence on the person's rising. I found a good example. The actress's name is Kelly Macdonald, she has Libra rising trine Venus in Aquarius. Hers is the perfect example of flat hair with blown away strands. I doubt she styled her hair in this pictures much because flat hair is too hard to style to begin with, and unless heavy fixing spray is used (which hers doesn't have that straw sprayed look), any styling would hold for half an hour tops. 
This picture is so interesting because my own hair is exactly like this, except the other way around, it bends forward on my right side and backward on my left. I like the left one a lot more and and am constantly brushing the ends on the right side, but very close to giving up haha. When I was younger I did not have these tiny curls and misbehaving bends, and I think with aging it's starting to gain more of a personality. Making me wonder if it's related to my Saturn in Aquarius.

So funny lol. You and me and the actress seem to have Aqua planets in common. Also my mom. Maybe it's more of an Aquarius thing than other air signs?

I can't think of anyone I know with that particular kind of hair. But I think it's the feel that matters, and translates to any kind of genetic composition. Someone here suggested a wonderful book a long time ago. I think I downloaded it for free on GoogleBooks: Astrological Body Types (Judith A. Hill). It describes physical appearances, including hair for all signs and planets. Here is what it says for Uranus energy:
"The Uranian trademark hair is very fair, thin and frizzy or wavy and completely impossible to manage. Aquarian hair is softly waving, lovely unmanageable and of an extremely fine texture." This is for Gemini:
"The sign tends toward fine hair and the males to frontal baldness. Gemini hair is peculiarly fine, flyaway, and wavy, tending to be light brown in the Caucasian type." Libra:
"lovely, moist, shiny hair (males tend to baldness)" I don't have time right now to go through other signs  My hair is different and actually corresponds more to Leo traits, which is my rising sign - thick, full, big, despite the strands being thin. I have Aquarius rising and my hair is pretty straight with no flips or curls to them. I wish though! I love tousled wavy hair. I actually always style my hair to be wavy even though it’s straight
