Happy Thanksgiving everybody!What do you think about Demi Lovato's rising sign? She has recently debuted a new look with the release of her new album which I was impressed by. 
And I just noticed she also recently married an Aries.

Oh yeah? Very interesting! Her eyes look similar to my sister's who is a Libra moon, Sag sun, Cap rising with Saturn in Aquarius conjunct Venus. IP: Logged |

Why do you think she is Libra Rising? Astrotheme has her as Leo Rising: https://www.astrotheme.com/astrology/Demi_Lovato I have problems with the Leo rising because that would put her Mercury in the 12th house, which does not make sense for a successful singer. I think it is quite possible she is Libra rising. And I say this because Pluto was in Capricorn last 20 years or so, and would have been squaring her ascendant, thus affecting her body, identity and sense of self... IP: Logged |

I saw that as well but they also cite the Rising accuracy as being in question.
And that website does this sometimes, I remember a few times they changed the risings of other artists despite having previously cited them as reliable. And yes she experienced a lot of that which makes sense to me too. She gives off a bit of an insecure vibes as well which can often be the downside of Libra. Interesting thing about Mercury in the 12th. She does have a powerful voice and I think Mercury in the 12th in general if had to be an artist wouldn't be into the type of music she produces.

I can totally see her as a Leo Rising she is feisty, has a fiery expression, powerful singing voice and is in a creative profession which is very typical of Leo/5th house people. Her hair esp when it`s long is also the first thing you noticed about her it can be very "mane" like. Mercury in the 12th can certainly explain her confused thinking and indecisiveness too. Libra Risings tend to come across as friendly and sometimes sweet people,think Jennifer aniston, but they also can seem like they want a "pat" on the shoulder for good behavior too and sometimes seem a bit like they are trying to suck up to someone. Can have a pretty girl or pretty boy look to them too with a friendly looking face. Astroseek also has listed her with a Leo Rising, to me she doesn`t seem like a Libra Rising at all not through her looks or personality after i watched her as a judge on xfactor. IP: Logged |

I wouldn't assume so. I'm one myself in tropical and I'd say the vibe is way different. I have Venus/Ketu conjunct though, a lot aspecting actually so maybe I can't use that as a metric. Still doesn't have the vibe. IP: Logged |

Well she is a Leo sun. So I think Leo energy is going to be there regardless of her rising. I remember Astrotheme had her rising as Pisces for years before changing it to Leo. And Astroseek usually copies from Astrotheme. That's why I don't trust them fully, especially if they do not mention the source as being the actual birth certificate. IP: Logged |

She just doesn’t seem like a Leo rising to me, because those people often give off a cool and detached vibe which shows they don’t care how they’re perceived in the world. Almost self-centered if you will. I’m a Leo rising myself. A Leo sun is most likely outgoing, a Leo rising, not necessarily (DC in Aquarius). Her aura is too flaky and insecure to be a Leo rising in my opinion. But there’s always a chance of any sign when it comes to rising.Plus I believe if she were a Leo rising, that would make her Taurus moon stand out more, but somehow her Taurus vibes aren't too strong (at least not as strong as Leo, Aquarius or Libra that we're picking up here), despite it being in the exaltation sign. So if she's an Aquarius rising, that could also make her look like her Scorpio MC, and potentially put her Sun in the 7th house hence giving off those Libra vibes. LOL i did not know she was a Leo Sun i thought she was a Taurus i must have mixed up her Moon sign for her Sun because i had a super quick look when i checked her chart, no wonder i was picking up on that Leo energy lol. But yeah she can get defensive but is also a bit indecisive but it`s not only Libra that can be indecisive and a people pleaser Pisces/12th house placements are big on this too. She was confused about herself for a period too and it seemed like she was going through a identity crisis which is a common issue for Pisces/Neptune dominant people.
