RIP to a great director and his wife. I have loved many of his movies.
.
.
.
Checking out his chart, and not claiming I can tell death from it, I was just noticing the particular transits he had.

=-= Scorpio rising with a Tsquare involving Pisces (Sun and Mercury), Gemini (shocking Uranus) and Virgo (moon).

=-= Venus, the ruler of his 12th house, was transiting Sagg, squaring and opposing this Tsquare and forming a Grand Cross. Well, this is not the first time Venus has gone through Sagg, so why would it be special or more ominous this time?

=-= Transit pluto, one of his ruling planets, was at 2 degrees Aqua, exactly opposing his natal Pluto and conjunct his natal Venus which is at the lowest point of his chart. Just a weird sort of synchronicity.

=-= He also has natal Mars on the cusp of 5th house of children. His son is allegedly the one that unalived him and his wife. Though transit Mars at 2 degrees Capp was not seemingly affecting any of his planet, it is possibly it had set the event in motion when it also formed a Grand Cross with his Tsquare Pisces, Gemini and Virgo weeks ago.

This was sad news i also heard the son did it and i noticed in his chart that he has Mars on his IC which may show violent acts in the home and in his 8th (the house of death and rebirth) he has Uranus in there and his death was shocking, surprising and very unexpected. He also has Aquarius in the 4th and Pisces in the 5th so dealing with family members that may be erratic and unpredictable and somewhat unstable may have been something he has had to deal with a lot in his life. Do you know why the son did it?

So far, and I mean so far, it seems to be a case of a severely mentally ill child/son who killed their parents/family members!

Pisces in Rob Reiner's 5th house. A mentally ill (Pisces) child (5th house)? I don't mean to say that most, or all Pisces, are mentally ill, I just mean that the very shadow side of Piscean energy, and symbolisms, can be very unstable, and can lead to mental illness. It's a very sad story for everybody, here.

I figured that might have been the case, I also just read that he was given an ultimatum from his parents to move out or take his medication, He had a long history of being difficult it seems and put his family through a lot. Here is some that has come out about the son-

- The insider claimed Nick “would fight with his parents because they would give him the ultimatum, take medication and stop using, or move out.”

The 32-year-old allegedly once threatened his sister, Romy Reiner, for confronting him, and “all hell broke loose.”

”His parents threatened to call authorities multiple times, but in the end didn’t,” the source alleged.

”Nick would reportedly find the aftermath of his rages funny and “brag [about] how he could get away with anything.”

what an awful situation😐. Killing your own parents?

But then Nick has Moon conj Chiron Natally and Pluto square Moon. So i don't think he ever felt loved by his parents(let alone close to them).

May they rest in peace

I have not looked at the son's chart, but he was known to struggle with substance abuse since he was 15... Addiction is part of the dark side of Pisces energy.

I've never understood addiction. Neptune can cause grand delusions, so maybe people use drugs and alcohol to drown the pain or just to feel normal by having a break?

Oh yeah, one of the shadow side of Piscean/Neptunian/12th house-ey energy, is addiction, and possible drug use.

Desire to escape reality.

Because Neptune is nebulous, foggy, without defined boundaries, it rules the oceans, it is not a grounded planet, so it does not promote having your feet firmly planted on the ground of reality. It promotes spirituality, higher realmes, or lower depths in the case of addiction, all things that have very little to do with ability to deal with the harsh cold reality.

So Neptunian people who are not processing Neptune well want to escape reality, be it through alcohol, drugs, social media and entertainments. even foods...

Belage, what would be your (short and quick) interpretation of Neptune in the First House? I love Pluto and Uranus in the 1st. Not so sure about Neptune.

Randall,

Neptune on the ascendant would enable the native to project an image, any image they want. They are able to be shape shifters and morph or change their appearances through the power of their own mind or will.

A perfect case in point is Marilyn Monroe, born with Neptune conjunct the ascendant, who was Norma Jean in private, but could "turn on" the Marilyn persona and glamour at will when she needed it.

The dark side of Neptune on the ascendant (and of any neptunian influence chart) is yes, the potential for addiction, death by drowning, death by drugs, alcohol, mystery surrounding death, sometimes suicide. Michael Jackson is reputed to have been Pisces rising. Whitney Houston was most definitely Pisces rising.

I didn’t mean to hijack the thread of a gruesome murder.
