Randal, I’m sad that I no longer can use this site fully due to Imagur’s new restrictions… Is there anything that can be done about this? Anyone with a UK IP address will come across the same problem. From their website: “Imagur access in the United Kingdom From September 30, 2025, access to Imgur from the United Kingdom is no longer available. UK users will not be able to log in, view content, or upload images. Imgur content embedded on third-party sites will not display for UK users. You can exercise your data protection rights without logging in (for example, to request a copy of your data or deletion) using our Help Center request form.” IP: Logged |

Just did a quick Chat GPT check and this is what it says:“ Yes — there are many image-hosting websites used worldwide that work reliably in most countries (not just the UK), and they cover a range of use-cases from casual sharing to professional photography or developer tools. Here are some of the best global options: ⸻ 🌍 Popular General Image Hosting Sites Great for everyday image uploading, sharing links, embedding, and broad accessibility. 📸 Free & Easy to Use • PostImage – Simple, no account needed, quick uploads with direct links. • ImgBB – Free hosting with easy embedding options, popular for forums and blogs. • imgbox – Free image host with unlimited uploads and no registration. • IMGPANDA – Drag-and-drop uploads with direct URLs for sharing. These are widely used and accessible in many regions for quick uploads and sharing on social media, forums, blogs, etc.” IP: Logged |

This worldwide censorship trend that started to gain momentum during Covid is rather alarming IP: Logged |

Oh yes, you're so right! I can understand how frustrating it is when you want to see a chart and you can't! The really nice thing, though, is that you can see a chart directly in a topic when the OP has copied the image link, rather than the page link and most of the people here in LL already do it this way and the image appears right away and you don’t have to click anything to open! This means that you can view almost all charts!(A direct image link ends in .jpg or .png. If it doesn’t end with one of these, the image won’t show directly in the post. It will only be clickable) IP: Logged |
