For now I only follow moon cycles and if something funny is going on ill check my transits.

But what if im working on a goal how can I use the chart to help me navigate decisions and make the most out of the moment

I thought your question was a bit fuzzy and I asked myself, what is going on with that person's mercury...?

Sure enough, you have Mercury in the 12th house (unequal house system) and your Mercury is about to be hit repeatdly by transit Uranus. Since Mercury is already your chart ruler, you will be starting a ride that is most unpredictable due to hard Uranus transit. Changes are a-coming for you, in terms of personal identity, how you see yourself and how others see you.

But I digress. To answer your question, I am still finding it fuzzy. You say you don't pay attention to transits, then you ask how you can make the best of transits to reach your goals. I am rather confused as these two are incompatible.... If you want to use your chart, you cannot only focus on moon cycles, you have to look at your entire chart, which requires profound astrological analysis, and map out transits for your chart, which also requires profound astrological analysis and work.

I dont check my transits on a regular basis only when unusual or new or unmanageable things start happening. Then ill see whats going on to help me understand the situation and help me deal better.

What i was trying to get at with my question was how can I use the planets to get to my goal. Say im looking for work. There is no obvious work transits happening right now but how can I find the area or a way to increase my luck or my success when job hunting.

Let's say im looking for relationships how can I force it to happen with transits if sY venus is in a bad spot nothing happening with DC etc etc. Like instead of being reactive how do you be proactive

You can't force it when you want it.

You can work with transits as you move towards your goals. If transit Venus is making soft aspects to your Asc, reach out to people or be open to connection. If transit Mercury is making a square to Mars, be very mindful and think twice before you say something. If you have too many heavy transits at once, you will need a lot of patience and do a lot of internal work. If you have Venus transiting the 12th or 9th, maybe go on a vacation. And so on...

Glad you clarified your question, and I second what Frida said.

If there is an astrological way to force planets to do our bidding, or to use them to get what we need or want, when we need/want it, astrologers to my knowledge have not found it.

At the same time, I don't want to be fatalistic and I refuse to promote the idea that if a new relationship or new job is not indicated in our chart and in the transits, we can't have these things. But for that, I think you have to use instead another esoteric discipline, like Manifestation, Law of Attraction, Law of Assumption, etc... Having done these things, I can attest that they do work though they too require mastery to see consistent results.
