I just want to keep this thread, as kind of an online diary of Uranus in Gemini.

Kanye West and Donald Trump are Geminis. I know a lot of people don't like them, but it's interesting to see how they act during this big transit.

I can definitely see Uranus in Gemini being, partly, about A.I..

I also see Uranus in Gemini being about social media trying to re-invent itself.

Great observations!

I think Uranus in Gemini will affect commerce, communications and particularly cryptocurrencies.

It is my belief as an astrologer that the US is Gemini rising (I know there are astrologers who think it is Sagg rising). So i think it will affect the US in ways we cannot quite predict right now.

Looking at the last time Uranus was in Gemini, was in the 20th century, between 1941 and 1949. In december of 1941, Pearl Harbor happened, which thrusted the US into becoming an active participant in WW2.

I've heard four answers for America's ascendant sign; Gemini, Libra, Scorpio, and Sagittarius.

It's hard for me to pinpoint an exact rising sign. I mean, I always felt like us Americans (well, I'm American) came off like a fire rising sign, and for me, we always came off like a Leo, or Sagittarius, rising. Very brash, and a bit of a know-it-all confidence to us.

So, to me, us Americans always were either a Leo, or Sagittarius, rising.

Perhaps Uranus in Gemini will sour our relationships (7th house) with the world community (7th house) due to so much craziness happening, to us, in our own country.

I understand perfectly the possibility of Sagg rising, as I was on the fence for a long time. The US is a nation made of immigrants and Sagg represents foreigners. We tend to be loud and boisterous, like the stereotypical Sagg. However, historically, the foreigners have assimilated over time, until recently.

I am looking at the duality in the US, a duality that reminds me of the twins of Gemini. The enduring Blacks vs Whites dichotomy. Indians vs Cowboys mythology. Republicans vs Democrats - we are the only western nation with only 2 parties, and it's been so since the beginning of the nation. Yes, I am aware that there are other parties but they have been largely inconsequential and have never held any serious power at all.

For me, Mercury as the ruling planet of the US makes sense. We have exported our commerce, currency (US$), our music and dance, our movies, disseminating them throughout the entire world and influencing other nations in these areas.

And the 9/11 tragedy, when transit Saturn was in Gemini and opposite transit Pluto in Sagg. Deadly and sneaky Pluto, working in Sagg the foreigner, used the Archer's arrows as planes flying in the sky to take down The Twin Towers (Gemini) of NY. This happened on our soil, representing the US's body, it's ascendant. The symbolism of this important milestone in US history was what made me decide the US was Gemini rising, not Sagg rising.

My opinion: The US is definitely Gemini, or Sagittarius rising. I just haven't decided which one, 100%, yet.
