Topic: Introversion or Extroversion

Where do you usually fall? I am atleast a little introverted but not too extreme. I am a Gemini but not that open in my expression but as stated not too extreme. I tend to choose to be friendly with people that I may like and disregard the rest.

E ENFJ I’m an extrovert with a social battery. I’m about to fully charge mine and go in the woods alone on 35 acres for 3 nights. Right now I am going through somethings. I need time. If I am going through something really hard and I’m processing it too. I only want to talk to 3 people about it. I hate that I had to move back in with parents so much. Wanting to be alone and also gtfo of this house at the same time. So glad I’m taking this trip.
I am so eff this **** with being around parents right now. That I had to regroup and pop my headphones in.
I leave on Sunday.
I also hate working full time and anything over 40 hours a week as an extrovert with a social battery. I do like to socialize and be the belle of attention but if people try to expect my life to revolve around them and I’m not trying to bang them or be in a relationship with them I will ghost them. Even once a week is too suffocating for me as a 30 something year old. When it comes to friends I like to see other people or maybe don’t. A weekend is not a lot of time for one’s self w/ a 40+ work week. With friends variety is the spice of life. I’m at a point where I don’t need to be treated like an SO by a friend unless they are a SO with the friendship element. My big 4 are

I need to be on the same wavelength as someone and then im very talkative and extroverted and get refueled from others.
When Im not on the same wavelength as someone im introverted and talking to them is very painful and drains me

I can relate to that. It is so draining and exhausting to be around certain people. Especially people that project. People that treat me like a moron for attempting to make conversation with them. People that are openly hostile, that I want to throw a v!brator at them. One day I just get done making an effort and will be silent around them and light up around others and talk smack about the rude person. IP: Logged |

I am pretty sure I am an introvert who fools people at parties. I don't mind spending time alone with myself, and I actually NEED time alone after I've spent time with people. As a Pisces rising, I think Pisces rising people are forced to be introverts because they tend to soak up others' energy and can lose themselves. When I am at parties, there is always and I mean always someone who latches on to me with some kind of a sob story that stays with me for days... IP: Logged |

In a college class for a master’s, we all took a personality test that has high validity. Then we shared the results. On the introversion/extroversion scale, I’m all the way over to the right. The test called me “gregarious.” However, I still appreciate my alone time. So, in my opinion, I’m both.IP: Logged |
