Just to let everyone know, premature labor kicked in on Tuesday night and I have just gotten out of the hospital. I am only 28 weeks, so I have been put on very restricted duty including no walking, lifting, house work of any kind or stress. Jeesh! This is going to be very hard for me to sit still, and although I have been advised not to return to work, financial reasons have forced me to return next week but at limited hours.

I will be staying with my grandmother who is a retired RN on the lake in a one story house where I won't have to walk up stairs or strain myself with laundry and groceries like I was at my own place. I will be continuing to pay the rent there and keep it until after the baby comes, but for now, I have to just take it easy and hope I don't dialate any further.

I will try to stay updated with the site if I can, but most likely won't be here as often as I could before.

Hope eveyone is doing well and taking care of themselves. Times like this make you realize what is important in life, and I have to attend to those things now.

Peace and light!

Ghani

Bed rest is a tough prescription, but the alternative is unthinkable.....
Thanks for the update -- you and the little one will be fine, ghani
Please please take it very easy and don't be tempted to over-do because of any sense of duty you might have.
A woman at my work had had several miscarriages and was confined to her bed for 5 months of her most recent pregnancy!! Her water still broke early, but she delivered a healthy, near-full-term baby

When is your due date??

Wow, I'm glad to hear you're okay.... being confined is hard, no doubt...
Take care of yourself, watch movies, read, relax.
Thanks for the update, and hang in there

Sorry to hear that, Ghani. It may be hard to; but youve got to force yourself to do what's best for baby and you. You'll look back on it soon and think it wasnt so bad and maybe wish you could do it again. haha Equip yourself with some good books, maybe one on meditation or relaxation techniques and use the time to get in touch with the place of peace within you, develop your intuitive or psychic skills. Keep a dream journal? A sketch book? Maybe take up knitting or crocheting and make baby a blanket...

Take it from a Taurus, you can get all kinds of things accomplished without leaving the comfort of your bed.

Life is signaling you to take it easy and you must.

Lots of Love, strength and health to you.

Do you have a laptop, or is there anyway you could get one? That might be really nice to have...

You could start a blog, become an expert on parenting by reading, learn something new like Photoshop. As an Aquarius, I think that would be really helpful for you to have this option.

Request a Free Long Distance Reiki Healing

The best way to understand Reiki is to experience it. As best as we might try to describe Energy Healing or Reiki in words, no teacher is better than direct experience. On this page you can request healing. See the page on Healing at a Distance for more information.

The Reiki Page (http://reiki.7gen.com/) is sponsoring this service offering free Reiki long distance healing sessions to all who request it. Whatever your ill, Reiki is capable of helping.

Disclaimer: Reiki is not a medical practice, and we do not pretend to be medical practitioners.

Requests entered through this page are sent to a list of volunteers (groups.yahoo.com/group/remote-healing-requests/). Each of whom will respond in their own way to these requests. No gaurantee is made what the response will be. I, David Herron, promise to send remote healing, at most once per week, to all requestors to this free long distance healing project.

The healings given through this project are not meant to substitute for more personalized treatment. If you desire individualized attention, feel free to contact myself or any of the practitioners in the Reiki Practitioners Directory for a private session. Private sessions generally will be charged a fee.

Thank you all so much!! She is not due to be born until September 2, so I'm just crossing my fingers and trying very hard to relax and let go of stress for her sake.

I'll be back to work Thursday, which I'm hoping will work out fine and I will be able to continue with because it will help me feel normal and take my mind off everything else going on. I have not worked less than 40 hours a week in sooo long, but as I've found out during the past week, my body really won't be able to handle that much. I am very lucky that my job is able to work with me and accommodate my restrictions. With the economy the way it is, I am thanking my stars that I work for such great people.

T, you are so right. My body is telling me I need to take it easy and stop over doing things, and I need to listen. I am in a confusing place emotionally, the events that lead up to this emergency are not going to be resolved until she is born, and also trying not to think about that with all this down time is not going to be easy. I know everything happens for a reason, I just have to calm my Aries rising down and be patient. Things will work out the way they are meant to and I cannot force them to reveal themselves, time will tell...

I have brought my art supplies with me and plan to create with my emotions, get things out in a healthy way.. It's been a while since I've taken the time to work on anything, so it seems the time is right...

Thank you all again for your well wishes. I'm doing what I can! I will keep you posted when I can!

Yes, hang in there. Breathe, know that even though everything seems confusing now, it wont be that way forever, you are blessed...

Lots of love to you.
