Now i know that most of you think i'm a hypocritical, self righteous f**wit but you know what, i don't care.. all l care about is what is happening here on LL.

In all the time i've been here l have never seen such b1tchiness and vitriolic behaviour as l am now. I am a person who hates to judge and will only fight back if someone is personal about me but i just read the troll thread and a couple of others and i have to agree with VirgOh.... the slagg1ng off and slating of others whom are posting valid points about LL is just unreal!!

LL is definitely going downhill - i've been noticing it for ages now. All this stupid chit chat on the threads, photos being posted and some moderators not doing their job and actually taking sides with the "gang" mentality?!?!?!

Aren't mods supposed to be NEUTRAL?

This is worse than a dominatrix fetish club! It really is, and i know you all will stick up for each other because you like to huddle in groups or a pack but please STOP and think.

Are you really right?
Are you really blameless?
Are you really so freaken innocent, enlightened and non judgmental yourselves?

hahaha
as Margaret Thatcher once said "NO! NO! NO!"

Can we stop this buddy buddy sh1t on here now please cos it's killing Randall's forum and Randall seems so sweet and has made so much effort so we can all enjoy
ASTROLOGY!!!!

Ok, you can all b1atch now... i know it's gonna happen.
Whose first...

"What wisdom can you find that is greater than kindness?"
-- Jean Jacques Rousseau

"Wherever there is a human being there is an opportunity for kindness"
-- Seneca

"Compassionate the mountains rise
Dim with the wistful dimness of old eyes
That, having looked on life time out of mind,
Know that the simple gift of being kind
Is greater than all the wisdom of the wise."
-- DuBose Heyward

"Shall we make a new rule of life from tonight: always try to be a little kinder than is necessary."
-- Sir James M. Barrie

"Kindness can become its own motive. We are made kind by being kind."
-- Eric Hoffer

Oh, and LindaLand is a Scorpio.
She rises from the ashes every time like a Phoenix and that's that.

Yes Yin, but the ashes are partly made up of good people!

I like JM Barrie's quote. He is a taurus/monkey like me

yes, Lara, I can see where you are coming from, unfortunately I lost my cool and posted in one of them too, my bad. Mods are supposed to be neutral and lalalinda was, she just closed the thread, I hope she will close the rest of them (I mean the ugly ones).

It's ok Peri, you rarely b1tch or add to the feud....

moderators should be totally unbiased and not seem to take sides nor be friends with certain buddies, thus siding with them on threads!

i'm a little clueless cuz i don't spend a lot of time here as my daughter keeps me extraordinarily busy (been meaning to ask, lara, is her astrotwin the same ENDLESS ball of energy?). i haven't really noticed any siding-with or anything. okay actually one incident springs to mind. but i think everyone's feeling the effect of the full-moon eclipse mars square to stellium thing going on and it is tempting the darker behaviours.

lara, even though i don't always agree with you, i find your ariesness fascinating and there's is something very wonderful for us all to learn from it. it burns fast and hard and when the flame is out, only good feelings persist. you hold onto your opinions tightly, it's true, but you are honest, forthright, and you speak your truth loudly. i don't see you as trying to offend anyone, i just see a lot of courage and fearlessness.

nobody is perfect and we all have lessons to learn from one another. nobody is more 'right' than anyone else. indulging darker emotions and pointing fingers, perpetuating arguments, does no good. i feel like lindaland is experiencing a family conflict on a grand scale and that's it. we can all learn from this, if we look at our own reactiveness first.

Woah - yeah, i am fearless. Life has taught me to fear nothing but fearing fear itself

This is why i laugh when people call me fake cos i'm so not fake... i'm passionate and the fire flares up but then when i settle i see the rational side, still the side i saw before but i can then talk calmly and with more insight.
you are so right...

yeah, my toddler is a BALL of energy and thank god for this new puppy cos she kills his energy!!!
I am mostly on my iphone when i post or stuck at home babysitting at night

Thank you for your thoughts and words Woah.

OK, this made me laugh:
"as Margaret Thatcher once said "NO! NO! NO!"

Lara, I have no problems with you. I think you have a good heart and I can see that - and to me that counts for a whole lot. I judge people by their hearts, and I can usually feel who's got a pure heart and who's full of poop lol. You have a pure heart in my book ... and so does VirgOh (and of course several others here as well). I know VirgOh pi$$es off a lot of people and his way of saying things can be insulting at times, but I do see a lot of truth to what he says. I'm not taking sides at all here, I just think that people tend to overlook certain perspectives if the tone isn't 'nice' - which is understandable... but that still doesn't mean that other perspective is wrong.

I'm getting tired of the energy here lately... the astro board especially feels oddly lacking in substance lately, and for some time now. It's getting ridiculous.
I'm generally tired of people beating a dead horse to the point of glue.
There's so much we could be learning about to expand our minds and instead there's all this BS to deal with.
And I don't care if LL is a Scorpio - seriously, that 'explains' nothing and it's no excuse. Oh, so-and-so is a Scorpio/Virgo/Cancer/Libra and so they are XYZ.
You'd think in knowing more about astrology we would not be summing up situations and people based on their freakin' SUN SIGN. That was the whole point of why I joined on LL in the first place, just to get PAST that kind of stuff, and people mythologizing themselves because they are whatever sign.

Rant over. LOL

I just needed a break, Peri. I got sick of being online.... and I can't believe how silly things have gotten here.
I think you're one of the very few sane, level-headed people on LL, btw

Everybody has their opinions.
I don't believe that it's about right or wrong.

it's all relative imho.

but

if anybody has a view on something, I think instead of personal attacks and name calling and judging people without knowing them, nor telling them to shut up (nobody owns anybody..no slaves,no masters), we can civilly disagree and leave all that other stuff out and explain why we disagree....even if means giving examples or posting urls or links (I am not a person who expects others to take my word for anything).

or even say

"Well..it's your opinion. I have my views and you have yours. There is nothing wrong with that."

or even just "agree to disagree"

and I have done those things myself.

I think that's a positive use of Eris Energy.

Raymond

“It is absolutely the perfect name,” Dr. Brown said, given the continuing discord among astronomers and the public over whether Pluto should have retained its planetary status.

In mythology, Eris ignited discord that led to the Trojan War.

“She causes strife by causing arguments among men, by making them think their opinions are right and everyone else’s is wrong,” Dr. Brown said. “It really is just perfect.”
