I used to be a big fan of theirs in my teenage years. Anybody else likes "Suede"?The Next Life Stay Together Beautiful Ones Animal Nitrate They disbanded in 2003 and Brett Anderson seems to be writing some mediocre pop songs now but hey, to each their own. IP: Logged |

Hey, AG! How could I forget my absolute favorite song by them! Sleeping Pills
Angel don't take those sleeping pills you don't need them Though it's just time they kill Angel give me your sleeping pills you don't need them Give me the time they kill You're a water sign I'm an air sign Gone gone to Valium can you get me some? You're a water sign and I'm an air sign Too Siamese to catch the leaves from those trees Angel don't take those sleeping pills you don't need them Though it's just time they kill, You're a water sign, I'm an air sign Pumped up with Valium, could you get me some? You're a water sign, I'm an air sign With sweet F.A. to do today, with sweet F.A. to do today... ...Angel, don't take those sleeping pills IP: Logged |

"Sweet F.A." ...love that term. It's funny.Their original guitarist was really good, and the subtle stuff in the background of that song was great. IP: Logged |

"Sweet f*ck all"In the context of the line, it's a sassy way of saying that he's got nothing to do today. IP: Logged |

lolI had a black suede shirt. I think I still have black suede shoes. My parents once got me a suede jacket (with sweater collar and elasticized cuffs) when I asked for a leather jacket. I was not amused. IP: Logged |

Yin loves soft materials in general and often wears suede-like stuff. Is that the case with you guys? Do you like soft, velvety clothes? Aww, AG. How sad. IP: Logged |

I love soft materials, but moreso on my girlfriend if I have one. I'll sacrifice a little comfort for style. Doesn't bother me.IP: Logged |

I love suede (don't know Suede) I have a black suede DRESS that snaps down the front Found it in a thrift store for about $15. The people who work in thrift stores and price the clothes don't seem to know what valuable items they have..... I got a leather jacket (that still had the Wilson's tag in it) for $19.95 a couple months ago Thank you God for thrift stores!! IP: Logged |

CPN!I had that jacket too! Mine was teal green. I thought I was the sh!t in that jacket, with my big hair and high heeled boots. OMG! Love suede by the way. Hard to clean though, always get snow salt stains on my suede shoes. IP: Logged |

AG I know just how you feel. Why do people buy people gifts that they have (the other people) have never expressed interest or desire in, and expect them to jump up and down.CPN okay, now you've got competition! When the eighties come back, I bet you I can aquanet my mall bangs higher than yours! My hair will be so big, no one will want to sit behind me at the movies! Even if I need to use a car jack that hair will give me back my formerly tall status of 5'2, instead of this 5'0 crap!! I so know your up for a challenge! If we were truly brave we would dig up photos from that time and post them, but, er, were not that brave, are we? IP: Logged |

ok ....well if i fall my hair will hit the ground three minutes faster than the rest of me and actually break where it hits. bic lighters will bring flammable to a whole new level as lighting a smoke could result in flashfires and....when i look in the mirror at my house it will actually block you from your mirror at your house and you will say, move your hair, and i will say, i can't.
sorry yin, never heard the band suede. edited to add, Gypsee - i bet you still use the best mascara in the world, maybelline great lash PINK and BLACK tube. sorry i have tried them all and that is STILL and forvermore will be the best mascara in the world. IP: Logged |

Of COURSE I use great lash! Do I seem like a totally uninformed crazy person? heh heh. There is a reason why that stuff is the biggest selling mascara ever. Cause it works! Now, should we beat the rush, and hit the thrift stores early? You know to snag up all the best padded shoulder shirts. I mean you can't be an 80's person if you don't look like an upside down triangle. Oh, and maybe we better skip the spandex. I don't think we should go there, well, I don't know about you, but I don't really wanna advertise you know, those, uh, 'slight' imperfections. IP: Logged |

no you don't. i do not believe you still have a pair.but since i JUST recently threw away my MC hammer pants (actually somehow, like a deer in headlights, ended up in PUBLIC with them on and had no choice but to throw them away so it never happened again)....part of me might believe you.
