Saw that on The News last night...

Been grinnin' since!

What a great expression of "tradition!"

I liked the reaction on a couple of the guests faces and the laughter going on in the background best.

They were all caught off guard and it caused an unexpected eruption of joy and laughter and clapping. The way a wedding should be. Fun.

I hate to be the gloomy Gus on the thread (I have been doing that a lot lately, I wonder what's going on):

I hated it. I was embarrassed for them. This trend needs to stop, or at least save it for the reception.

Hi Gus,

I was wondering who would be the first. Youve opened the floodgates now too, you see? That's cool. Hopefully this one doesnt turn into an argument thread though.

I thought about the 'saving it for the reception' thing too, but still think it was nice. I was a little embarassed for some of them too. haha!

Ghani, I agree.

Oh no! I hope that isn't the case either T.

I am just pretty traditional and low key (about weddings at least) so it rubbed me the wrong way. I couldn't sit comfortably though it.

LOL!

I saw this last week, and I loved it! This is totally something I would do for my wedding, if I were traditional enough to have it at a church, which I'm not. I've always thought that so many weddings and receptions are exactly alike and this would make yours special and personal and FUN!

awwww geez! Thanks T! I showed my daughter your video, cause I thought she'd get a kick out of it, and she liked it so much, now she wants to do it when she gets married, which is fine, except she wants me IN the wedding. Good Lord, I can only imagine!

wellll.....don't wanna brag but, not so bad. STILL, I don't wanna do it in one of those taffeta creations from hell! Remember this conversation in the tomboys thread?
If she has me dancin, I better get to chose my dancin clothes.

.....And its all because your momma dont dance and your daddy dont rock and roll, when evening comes down, where do you go, to rock and roll?

Sorry, I just burst into a little ditty there, don't mind me.
