Would anyone be interested in bidding on a BRAND NEW copy of Linda Goodman's "GOOBERZ" to benefit this website? I'm thinking of putting this book on Ebay and then doing a PayPal transfer to Randall for the entire sum of the selling price.I purchased this book years ago from a warehouse surplus book seller at it's cover price of $19.95, and I haven't touched it since. The front/back covers are excellent, the spine is perfect, and all of the pages are as crisp as the day I purchased it. This book has literally never been opened. GOOBERZ is out-of-print and can sometimes be difficult to find at a reasonable price. So, Lindalanders, any interest? IP: Logged |

I'm basically trying to take a poll. If enough people here are interested in either Gooberz or donating to Lindaland, then it will be worth auctioning the book... It would be rather pathetic to send something like $3 to Randall.IP: Logged |

That's very thoughtful of you. I have my own copy of Gooberz. Hopefully this plan works out. IP: Logged |

Hey! Great idea! I have my own as well, but have you posted this up in the Oober forum, I'm always reading strings about people wanting this book, they may not come to this forum.IP: Logged |

Sigh* I mean 'threads' not 'strings', I am wearing cut off shorts with those dumb strings hanging down, and all day I kept thinking there was a bug crawling on my leg! So the word string was on my brain!IP: Logged |

Don't worry. Randall calls them strings, too. IP: Logged |

Thanks, AG. Yeah, we Lexigrammed the two words a while back, and I preferred the strings version over threads. ------------------ "Fortune favors the bold." Erasmus IP: Logged |
