I have no objection to them whatever, if they are pursued in a sensible manner. However, I do find this article extremely good:

And I think this man should be Head of the Church in England, and not the very wet Rowan Whatsisface.

If I had a teenage child, I would NEVER allow them to use facebook, myspace, texting, etc. I really think theres going to be a backlash against these types of tech. someday, people are going to want to go back to the 'simplier times'...lol, ok maybe im being idealistic on the last part.

He has a point. Cyber-bullying can make a person extremely vulnerable due to it capable of having a world wide audience. There is nowhere to hide and heal when 'nasties' are being written about you.

People are losing that special human connection, to a degree. Places, such as Lindaland, are special and unique as most people here have a special view on life which is hard to share in everyday places.

But I bring this subject up again. Our society is very left brained - that is, driven by rational logic, economy and verbal communication. God dwells in our right brain.

Technology, which is a left-brained tool designed by left brained systems and structures, can drive the right brain soul into the ground without a careful approach to it.

I thought God's omnipresent?

Yeah, he has a point. But I don't think the networking thing is the real problem. If a person has a healthy REAL (offline) life, they wouldn't think that their online status is the be-all and end-all of life.

Hmmm Deux... I recently had an experience where a person was bagging me and my colleagues on line. It was totally unacceptable and we rolled up our sleeves and put up a fighting campaign.

We have managed to put this person 'in place', for the moment, at least. But it has put us on alert for any future slagging.

Oops, I should have place an acknowledgment on God dwelling in the right brain....
