well i just hope they are all right. there is certainly life outside LL and i don't blame anyone for going away! but all these references to goings-on behind the scenes, and so forth, are titillating but not explanatory...apparently even jwhop takes a break from time to time! i have only been here for awhile but i am looking at a busy realspace time just up ahead and will probably not have as much time for here either, but i wouldn't want anyone to think it was a reflection on them, cos it's not! and i just want to say that if i have in any way contributed to someone's wanting to leave, - heartfelt apologies! Must we quibble? I dare say, its hardly semantic hair-splitting to suggest that a beaten monk is closer to "TRAGIC" than PA's absence from LL. But call the former horrendous, hideously disgusting, or anything south of "very bad" and you'll only meet with agreement from me. I apologize if the pic is too graphic for some -- I just figured, no children, no faces, no mutilation.. easily a PG or PG-13 rating, despite the disturbing nature of the scene. Personally, all the pics of tanned, unctious bohunks in speedos give me the willies, while shots of dead monks just make me sober and reflective. To each their own.  I'm hardly "assaulted", to use MVM's word.

stephen - i am with you for the most part on the "bod" pics, though to each his or her own, basically...pictures of naked men, no matter how sexy they may actually be, have never done a ting for me...though i have to admit the aquarius one from pire's calendar gave me a laugh!!and i agree with you about cpn, even when she's blurting the only part i don't understand is why she thinks we may be offended!! i was going to suggest a PA rating for the monk picture, short for pretty abominable, but i don't want to confuse the issue by making puns on PA's name, because she is anything BUT (pretty abominable, i mean). pretty amazing goes better with her as i have witnessed her here! edit: have to admit some of pire's captions are chucklesome too! pire: i love your frenchified mispellings of english words..i am assuming you mean most of them don't "live" in your area, not "leave"? otherwise you would be drowning in them, non?(please don't take this as an excuse to stop) IP: Logged |

I have to add that it's not advisable to bottle up anything, unless you're going to make millions selling them. LOL. You are right, everyone goes through tough times. IMHO, acknowledging what we feel and learning from them is the best thing to do, but dwelling on them for longer than necessary is counter-productive.
