There seems to be a lot of negativity on LindaLand lately. Arguments, argumentative threads, hypersensitivity, just a negative tone altogether. Please, I know that I am not immune (see my smart-a** posts and responses - I even wrote a whole long story about someone I should have stopped thinking about a long time ago). I feel that I have been either contrary or just plain b**tchy lately. I have been crabby in real life as well…What is going on?

*ETA:too much self-disclosure!*

Is it some sort of lame-a** transit? What will make you happy? What will make us happy? (uck, I still feel sappy about typing that and I’d feel that way even if I wasn’t in ‘negative mode’)

I feel that my Libra Moon is forcing me to write this (too much bad, need more good to balance)…

yeah, good luck with that break from LindaLand, you are obsessed!

Its a cycle of life. I just try to learn from our disagreements here at LL, and hopefully grow a better understanding from them. I dont expect sunshine and rainbows all the time, but I do like peace.

Also mars is squaring saturn/uranus and causing a lot of built up anger with people, theres also a sexual block that could be causing people to lash out at the wrong people.

Fook! I should have lashed out ages ago. What has stopped Me?

Happy?
What makes me happy? You asked.

Doing an enjoyable job which benefits people, and where I also get paid. Should go without saying, yet I said it, and yeah - it does need saying.

Living in a house on my own, by the beach, with no family, or anyone I know, around for miles and miles.

People around Me that are genuine, caring and supportive.

If people communicate directly and clear.
I cant control others, but have controlled myself.
Two people have to pick a present for another. In order to impress, person A goes round, asks the opinion of all friends and family, studies the previous gifts, and tests the reactions of potential presents while communicating in an indirect language, so to not make the other aware of what was going on.
Person B went up and asked the other directly.

PRIVACY. With my brother and sister alive for many years, this is not possible. If I put on some porn, they would be down the street telling everyone...the next day!

Other people (Women AND Men) who assume things about Me, to be educated.
Yes, I am still waiting for a partner, more importantly, waiting to move. If I am not interested, or dont make advances - which is always and for the past few years, no, doesnt mean I prefer same sex. I am not a one nighter guy and sure aint an escort.

That is pretty much it. I dont have the above at all. Not good is it?

What do you suggest? Positive thinking?
The last 10 years of my life not enough?
Sit it out and wait, even more?

I will have to make do with a Coffee, that is all I have wth Me.

Money not on the list you ask? I have seen what some do for money.

coffee -have you ever considered writing a book?

i hate it that so many people feel stagnant for long periods of time... good jobs seem hard to find anywhere.

not wanting to jump on the first sluut around, i admire you for..i keep saying it will come you will meet someone, but when you are looking for a needle in a haystack it can get pretty daunting. took me over 40 years to find someone "different"..

maybe an on line business? you know astrology inside out, maybe consultations?

or an online store front? tie-dye? if you made a bunch of tie-dye t-shirts, tank tops, do-rags and dresses and sold them on ebay? i know you can get the materials in bulk fairly cheap and if you dont want to do ebay, go to folk concerts and set up a table maybe? i know someone who does that and makes a few thousand dollars at every folk concert. they do it all summer and live on the money year round. it's kind of hippie, but it works for them.

start up costs...maybe a couple of hundred bucks...and you would have fun and meet NEW people, not the same old same old. i dont know, its worth thinking about.

i miss you being your fiesty self...

Salute.

I tell them and tell them that I will see about doing what most have already done
This only after I have my life sorted. That will take a looooooooooooooong time. As it has already. Dont need to go into detail.

So when they look to pair me off or arrange a marriage, it makes me wonder what part about "when I get sorted" they dont understand.
It would make me very happy to do all this myself, like normal people do. That is, if I can somehow get the people around me to leave Me alone to get sorted and do it myself.

I have many jobs options and many plans and everything else, just need to have moved 1st.
That will only happen by Me getting a normal job. Enough said on that topic for the last few years (you think Id have bored myself now)
Clothes is good idea. Not for Me
Linked to my chart, so thank you.

No, cant control others, but tell them and have it written down many times. I guess it would make Me happy if people take it as it reads and allow Me to actually life my effing life how I want it.

Coffee supply slowly going down. Its getting worse...positive thinking....

quote:
When you have once seen the glow of happiness on the face of a beloved person, you know that a man can have no vocation but to awaken that light on the faces surrounding him; and you are torn by the thought of the unhappiness and night you cast, by the mere fact of living, in the hearts you encounter.

You'll see that people use the internet as a receptacle for their toxic emotions.

Many come online to try and work through issues with their family/friends, or as a place to vent anger/frustration.

Many are looking for social support that they aren't getting in the "real world."

The nice thing is that because it's the internet you can choose to not get involved.

The error that these people are making is that acting out just furthers the cycle of their own suffering.

Yin I very much like that quote.

My take on happiness:

The tao (god, the universe) wants us to find utopia and happiness in our own hearts. Then to bring this to our relationships. Then to our communities. Then to the world. The evolution of the human species must go towards peace, equality, love, and justice. Spiritual evolution must accompany technology advancement. That is the imperative we're seeing in the world today. Only with love and awareness can we save ourselves from falling.

For most of us the journey begins through self examination, self evalution, meditation, prayer, service, thought monitoring, gratitude. We need to start simple.

The golden rule (ie respect for all beings) is a good place to start. It's easier to employ than you might think.

Sure!
I started with "The Plague" but it doesn't really matter. I love Camus so I read all I could get by him.

Life treats me alright. Some rough transits recently, but they only seem to make me feel uncomfortable. Nothing seems to actually be threatened.
