BM,

I didn't realize that my Satellite tv service carried Jules Holland's show (on a channel called Ovation), but I turned it on by chance not realizing that this was the show you said Elbow would be on. Of course when Elbow came on it all came back to me, so I did get to see it on tv. David Gilmore was playing when I tuned it in, so it was easy to hang around to see what else showed up.

EDIT: Now I've seen another favorite band, James, a couple times!

It was also cool to find out Jools is a good pianist.

Leichen;

That does resemble my shih-tzu with the crazy eyes and the random tongue hanging out for no reason.

Let me ask you, I'm curious, is that the way the coats on your moms dogs are supposed to be groomed (on the long side) or does she just chose to have them that way.
I ask cause my Shih-tzu book has his wearin long hair and barettes in it. NO. He's a dude. I try to keep him short as he is a magnet for random outside debris. But I was told my style choice was "against breed" whatever the heck that means!

The Storm.. They were together in the House.

Just the two of them.

It was a cold, dark, stormy night. The storm had come quickly and each time the thunder boomed he watched her jump.

She looked across the room and admired his strong appearance...and wished that he would take her in his arms, comfort her and protect her from the storm.

Suddenly, with a pop, the power went out... She screamed...

He raced to the sofa where she was cowering.

He didn't hesitate to pull her into his arms.

He knew this was a forbidden union and expected her to pull back.

He was surprised when she didn't resist but instead clung to him.

Gypsee, traditionally, these dogs have long straight hair flowing down to the sides and that is how they should be presented at dog shows. but my mother trims off a lot of their hair in the summer. and they look just as cute, like a bizarre hybrid french bull. they also do not like walking outdoors (except the foreign breeds that adopted to the Western dog livin'), and they have very long hair growing out of the tips of their toes. they look very dragon-like overall, despite their delicate build. in the West they tend to trim that off for convenience and hygiene, but originally (i forgot to mention but they come from Japan where people don't wear shoes indoors) they wear them long.

i'm actually not so much into small lapdogs, but with these guys i really had to make an exception! they are very independent and autonomous, but very loyal. the only downside is that they shed hair SO MUCH, i mean, and with 5 of them... my mother is perpetually cleaning with sticky rollers.

Glad you got to see that, this is a good show.

When I hear Grounds for Divorce, it always reminds me of you.
