shrugs

could be irritable male syndrome too

1,2,3,6 fits right in with that

males have their own type of PMS,cycles
drops,fluctuating of testosterone
males with high estrogen levels tend to more emotional, sensitive, moody as well as have problems with sexual dysfunction

from article:

Irritable male syndrome (IMS) is a set of symptoms that occur when there is a drop in testosterone levels.1 Most of the time low testosterone levels occur in men over 50. However men 40 and younger are being diagnosed. Fluctuations in testosterone occur seasonally and during times of stress.2

Fast Facts:

* The most common symptom is anger.1
* Men who are going through IMS often experience tenseness, frustration, anger, and sadness; they are defiant, demanding, and defensive.3
* IMS can be similar to male menopause.

If anyone in a relationship needs to use those kinds of excuses, maybe they need work on communicating better.

In some cases, there is a number of physical conditions/ illnesses people may have which can lower the labido or even make sex uncomfortable...which is a different matter.

avoiding sex? really? you mean like a rut?

and what happened to open communication?

it doesn't have to always be the same. sometimes a woman just needs to ask for something a little different. that will cure any "headache" or "moodyness"

It shouldn't be like a chore. But I remember with my last marriage we just hit a rut. The longest we went in our almost 10 years of being married was 9 months...and no not becasue of a pregnancy lol.
Even at that it was very mechanical....
Sucks when you fall out of love...
