Meta asked me a question a while back.

Scotsmen. There are a couple in my neighbourhood. If I need something heavy lifting, I ask, and they rush around with their shirts off. Well, maybe not with the shirts off but it is quite pleasant if that happens.

Ah, strange anomaly. Aussie men have no qualms about taking their shirts off. Physical build is irrelevant. Heavy lifting optional.

It gets a bit parky in Scotland over the winter months. This October morning further south was a see your breath in the air kind.

Glad you liked that line, it does get a bit much, all this obsession with the astrology of sexual relationships. And, yes, asteroids, I agree with the big fella on that - the asteroid true love and all that.

I'm not minding the asteroid stuff so much. I mean, I just found out that my Kaali is trine asteroid Monty Python. What's not to love about that?

May I suggest that you and the big guy check out your asteroid Lovejoy and see how it, umm, fits?

I'm not sure how the asteroids fit and work just yet. I'm open to the research. I figure that once upon a time people were mocking the concept of the planets having the impact that they do. They still are. Asteroid research is relatively new, as far as I can tell. Who knows in a couple of hundred years how that research will reflect?

There are a lot of asteroids, but they seem to get cherry picked for the ones with the attractive sounding names that can be applied to romantic relationships.

I'm not so much intereted in it from a synastic point, I guess. More natal interest for me. Typical Aries to only be interested in itself.

I like the sexy ones like Destinn, etc and seeing how it fits. No idea yet, but observing. I want to see if it really fits/works. The only way to do that is to pay some attention to it. The soulmate stuff gets out of hand in the boards. Too much of it for me.

My biggest interest in astrology is the North Node. It's the first thing I look at in any chart. I really like Jan Spiller and her astrological interpretations.

Meta-4: Daniel is all yours, bows out gracefully.
He has been on my back burner for some time...8-)

bm: about the heavy lifting. There is something about the male Scot, and particularly [for me] the Welshman.

PA: I do have 19521 Chaos in aries
585 Bilkis is sextile Merc and Trine NN maybe I am here to swindle? Nooo scratch that, I prefer to defer bilkis as...

The Queen of Sheba. As the woman who ruled the ancient kingdom of Sheba. Solomon supposedly travelled from Mecca to Sheba and expected to find its queen with ‘legs like a donkey's because her mother was a djinn’, a demon. To his relief the legs of the Queen of Sheba proved attractively human, though they were rather hairy. So they married–after she had used depilatories.

I like the Jan Spiller books too, but find that Michael Lutin's Nodal book Sunshines- The Astrology of being happy is more useful and profound. Psychological approach... he maintains a private practice counseling in New York .

Howz about I throw Seal into the mix?

19 Feb 1963 time unknown..what is it with celebs and birth time?? I suggest that he is Pisces Sun not Aqua, NN 29 Cancer.

I had a feeling. Just from analyzing the type of males you're attracted to I got a Sag-sense. It's not a bad thing! I'm a Leo with Venus conjunct Jupiter in the 9th! We're partners!

Exactly! Burly and helpful!

But what are their temperaments like? Scot vs. English?

In the broadest of generalisations, the Celtic type is fierier-tempered. The English male often does a restrained thing that I find frustrating.

Ah.

So really my lovely friends were just telling me that a Scottish man might be more equiped to handle my stirring nature!

But that's alright. If they all look like Kevin McKidd i'm sure i'll be able to cope.

Not really. Had less work to do. Finished faster. Was saddled with more. Pretty normal. I'm excited that it's Friday.

How's your day?
