The first thing that came to mind was "accomplishment." What else? The gravy juice that Al Pastor meat produces Seeing something of some special beauty, and knowing who might share my joy in observing it Making people laugh Compliments on doing something I really wanted to do well Noticing people give other people grace (it makes me happy to see that people are sometimes good enough not to mention their own goodness to people) Similarly, gestures that show love without stating it really make me happy Quality Having something special IP: Logged |

Noone's mentioned shagging yet. So I will. Getting absorbed in reading, writing, creating. Laughing with friends and family. Connecting with someone in conversation I don't know that well, or maybe someone I am already close to. IP: Logged |

You - the people at Lindaland. Mornings. Smells of home. (insert chicken soup smell, coffee smell, even moth balls smell here - whatever home means at the time) Reconnecting with an old friend. Arguments that end on a positive note. AG, I love this one. It makes me happy as well. quote: Noticing people give other people grace (it makes me happy to see that people are sometimes good enough not to mention their own goodness to people)
Knitting a scarf. Cooking for somebody. My dogs' faces. My love's voice on the phone. Sushi. Holding hands. Singing really loud in the car. Dancing. There are way too many things that make me happy. LOL. IP: Logged |

William Wharton's books.Regina Spektor's songs. Emir Kusturica's movies. Joan Miro's paintings. Leonard Cohen's poetry. Thrift stores. Having a grandmother. *sniff, sniff* Lilies of the valley growing in my garden. Bear hugs. The way my hair looks in the sun after henna. Classy people. My elderly friends. Sitting around a fire.....something cool and totally chill about thatSwimming in the ocean, and then not swimming, but just letting it toss you around where it wants, very humbling.. Children giggling scratchy records on a record player synchronicity when your dog knows, instinctively that you are sad or cold and curls up along side your body lasagna seeing my male cousin about once a month. we drink martini's and are about the two most annoying fire sign drunks you would ever want to see, but it's okay because his Mother owns the restaurant and they wont kick us out. Then waking up the next morning, thinking, "wow, ouch, that was fun, don't think I wanna do that again, for about 30 or so days" old photographs that you can laugh about IP: Logged |
