I pass this tree just about everyday, and I think I'm probably the only to have noticed that it resembles a hummingbird.

I see it
There's the mark of a good photographer (and a good imagination): to see more than what is there.....

I like how it even looks like it has eyes.

When I showed it to my friend, he was thinking that it wasn't going to be anything special, but when it came into view it was quite distinct. He saw it right away.

I'm kind of still astounded that because of it's location it's quite likely that no one else has noticed it. You can see it on the road going to my condo complex, but it's tucked away a little, so it's not likely that anyone is looking out for it. It's like a little secret between God and me.

There are multiple pics. I don't know why they wouldn't show up. They are a little on the big side, but not of the thread widening sort.

Oh, I thought you just wanted to prove it looked like a hummingbird, AG

It is a very cute branch, and it's sweet that you shared it with us.

Do you like topiary, by chance?

Passed it this evening. It's looking good. I thought the lighting on my way home probably would have made for a better picture of it than the ones here, but I didn't have a camera on me (except the phone camera, which isn't good).

HUMMINGBIRD

Joy

Life is a wonderland of delight -
darting from one flower to another,
tasting the sweet nectar and
radiating the colors of the rainbow.

Hummingbird a symbol for accomplishing that
which seems impossible.
It can teach you how to find the
miracle of joyful living in your own life.

Hummingbird medicine is herbal; it shows us how to use flowers for healing.
They teach us how to draw life essence from flowers
and create your own medicines.

This totem reminds us to explore the past and extract the sweetness from it.
It can help you find joy and sweetness in any situation.
Grab joy as swiftly as you can.

Hummingbird reminds us to find the joy in what we do and to sing it out.

That's awesome..

My mom got a tatoo about 5 years ago with a hummingbird. The flowers around the hummingbird are supposted to represent my sister and I. I'll have to forward her that poem, that's beautiful.

AG... I look at things like that all the time when I walk. I thought I was just a bit of a nerd for doing so lol. Good to see I'm not alone

AG, I see the photo was posted in early October but wondered if the leaves get the reds and golds of autumn color. Or, do the trees shed their leaves?
If so, please do add a late fall / early winter photo.
