koiYou're not allowed to leave either. This is how it all sits with me: Perspective is a big thing. This, really, whilst inconvenient and not a nice experience, really isn't a big deal. A storm in a teacup. Truly. I have a child with Aspergers. WW3 consists of a deviation from the drive home after school and some other minor event, on a daily basis, sometimes on a minute-to-minute basis, literally. THIS, here, today, is N-O-T-H-I-N-G in comparison. Trust me. It's far from the worst. At the end of the day, it really means very little. It's open forum and you can't please everyone. You don't have to. I don't care about the inaccuracies said about me which is why I can let it go. I care about this stuff - you, being here - a good and true friend. You know me - what I'm about. So, in short, you are NOT going anywhere. That's that! Got it! Now, let it go. That's what it's worth. It's had more of my time and energy than it deserves. Okay! IP: Logged |

I am happy and grateful to have arrived at a place where I don't have to change other people. I am happy and grateful to know that whatever is bothering me about other people doesn't mean there's something wrong with them. It only means that there is some inner work that I may have been neglecting recently. I am happy and grateful to have people around me who act as a mirror to show me what's happening in my inner world as it is reflected by my outside world. I am happy and grateful to have arrived at a place where I know that there is no ONE TRUTH that is applicable to everybody, and that THE TRUTH is composed of all possible truths. I am happy and grateful to know that I don't need to reach for enlightenment or to struggle to evolve, but just to be free to be my genuine true self from moment to moment. *** Note to PA: Correction, this one we have here is the original Mona Lisa, not the one with the mysterious smile. I didn't realise you had a child with aspergers PA. Which just reminds me and annoys me more, that people who are born with mainstream perspectives on life choose to jab at others. While others with no choice and are born with a challenge, use more energy just trying to figure out what others take for granted. I never mentioned it before koi. It only comes up as a reminder in perspective. This "hiccup" as Spanky called it, really, no compare! It doesn't even rate. That's my perspective. Let them say all the tripe they like. My life goes beyond LL. You work with children. I have my own as well as do volunteer work with children. I feel blessed to know real joy. And I feel blessed to have valued friends who know what I'm really about. Anyone not like me or wants to make up stuff about me? Bleh!Though, if people are going to be creative about me, I'd love some James Purefoy action. Thanks. IP: Logged |
