I remember when I was quite young and I'd go and stay with my aunty for a while and she would speak Greek to me and would ask me for certain types of food in their correct Greek wording, as opposed to the Anglicised version I was accustomed to, and I would decline (out of sheer fear - WTF is she trying to feed me???).
