Don't you ask yourselves that question from time to time?We can see all the posters but what about the readers? How many people frequent this place?
What do they take away with them?
What do they think of LindaLand? Do they just click off to another astrology forum? Do they stick around and marvel at the dynamics of our online relationships? Don't you feel exposed? IP: Logged |

Can't remember the name of it but somewhere there is a site that analyses the user level, who posts the most, etc. Stalkers might want to sit and read our shenanigans, I can't think who else could possibly have that much of a gap in their lives. IP: Logged |

I do wonder that from time to time. Which is why I've changed my user name a couple times over the years. I don't want anyone to do a search on the user name I use on most other boards and find me here.

Yes, i wonder sometimes too. I know many members who dont post regularly and say they mostly lurk. I think many of the regulars who do post regularly here lurk in other forums as well. We probably all go through times where we just dont have much to say and maybe read more. I'm here often throughout the day. Usually between projects or emails. For some reason, I think more people frequent here than we may think. Good questions. I dont know for sure.  Yes, I feel exposed sometimes too. IP: Logged |

blue moon ~I think what you're remembering was Board Reader..... As far as I know, none of the mods are privy to LL statistics re membership. We have no access to member rosters or email addys. When I first came here I felt very shy and reluctant to write *anything* especially personal -- I didn't want to feel so vulnerable and exposed. But when I read responses to some heartfelt things I posted, I realized that I could touch people by my words -- people who never or seldom post but read here often.
My posts are for them, as well as for the people I interact with..... This is an interesting graphic:
