Hi Lara - I hope you're enjoying home schooling. Here's a website that's worth looking at: http://www.readinga-z.com/members/index.php Click on the tabs where it reads 'guided reading, phonics, fluency, etc, and that will take you to the samples. A seven day free membership will allow you to download about 8 books and their accompanying worksheets per day. I have a few others, which I'll post once I'm at home. I'm not sure how old your children are, but it's always nice to peruse different sites to get ideas. IP: Logged |

There a heaps of freebies here: http://www.enchantedlearning.com/Home.html This is a fantastic website - super cheap to join, but has Australian theme to it. Take a look anyway: http://www.teachthis.com.au/ Another excellent website: http://www.k-3teacherresources.com/index.html For mathematics: http://www.math.com/ This is a must: http://www.mathletics.com.au/ Look for the link in mathletics that leads to Targeting Maths (I think, I have to look myself). Targeting Maths is one fantastic interactive resource for children of all ages and abilities - it's great fun! There is also a great website for people who are homeschooling - It's brilliant. It moves through a sensible curriculum direction. I'll try and find that.

Yay, I found the website!! http://www.homeschoollearning.com/ Also, in the following website, I found a couple of great units (a couple of years ago). This website seems to charge a fee now, but just have a look for some freebies as their resources are fairly good. There is also an option to get on free unit a month if you subscribe to their weekly newsletter.......... http://schoolexpress.com/index.php Happy Teaching!! IP: Logged |
