Afterall, nothing holds people back like an addiction. You can't grow if you don't process life's events naturally, organically, good or bad. Addiction stunts emotional & spiritual growth by avoiding the natural emotional process which is so important.

We could create a place all about rising above it all. So many of us have been in the grip of addiction, but broke loose! Many are still in the grips of it.

i'm not sure about the technical "how" but knowflakes could share their bookmarks.

one way could be a thread where knowflakes give links of previous threads (just one so the rest of the forum is clear)

and then, all other threads would be reorganization of those links according to their "subjects" (synastry - composite -house overlay - transits - natal sun aspects - theories of astrology - ... )

whatever the way, however, i suggest here that the mod eliminate threads when they are very personal (self-centered) because even though they could contain informations, they are very private in essence.

oh, well, this is point is not my decision anyway, randall's the boss, but i thought i would mention my view. another thing may be, just one, threads more ancient than april 09 aren't editable, so if someone refused to have it posted, i think we should take the thread downs.

And, if LL2 is a general meeting place, discussing whatever, then why would we have to have any more then one forum. The word general can be any topic.

Yes, I know that would move too fast and be confusing, but it does seem that the waters get muddy sometimes, and people purposely post in astro 2 or LL2, because they know that more people will see it. I know I have.

I still think a media forum would be useful in alot of ways. People could not only share views and opinions on films, books, news stories..etc, but they could also discuss music and share links and so forth with that. We do that in Yellow Wax, but alot of people don't know about that.

Linda loved movies, and I believe she enjoyed friendships with her Hollywood set.

So, a media type place would be the place where alot of odds and ends type of threads could be merged. Even Godzala could be moved there, since it seems to center around film stars.

Also if you don't want the Astro board muddied up, then threads pertaining to celebs and their charts could go there too.

I think it would be fast paced and enjoyable..a breath of fresh air.
