.....and they do just that! Suddenly appearI woke up last year to one line on my upper lip. It was really annoying. It looked like I had two philtrums. Now another one has appeared on the opposite side and my top lip looks balanced - (should I be grateful??) Welcome to the forties - oh, btw, that's when teeth and eyes start to go, too. Yikes... ISN'T THAT THE MOST OBNOXIOUS THING EVER!!!They could at least give you a faint warning. OMG! a few years ago I woke up with one right between the eyebrows. (I always frown in bright lights, so Mom was right when she said, "if you keep making that face, it's gonna freeze that way!" To my horror, I noticed she had the very same one, and hers is definetly due to the extremely unpleasant faces she makes most of the time! lol! So I decided to cut bangs. It worked out. I don't know what to tell you though. Fake mustache? Draw your lipstick line over the real one to draw attention away??? hahahahaha, it could be worse. And you know what they say about wrinkles, we've earned every one! If you have them near your mouth it is probably from smiling, and what better a way to earn a wrinkle? IP: Logged |

Spots and wrinkles should not co-exist on the same face. It is unfair.IP: Logged |

Dee and Koi;Simply place your computer in the next room, I promise you will see it much better. Now, I hope nobody is the cringing type, if you are, please stop reading now. I think the cruelest trick of aging is finding a grey hair, ummm, there. That is just not right!!! I mean the implications alone are staggering!!! This happened to me about a year ago, and I called my Mother in panic (why do I continue to go to this woman for comfort, why???) and by the time she got done laughing her a$$ off, she had me completely paranoid about something yet to come concerning random balding???? WHAT???!!!! I then called my nurse friend, she said, "well, I'm a natural blonde, we don't have these problems." (????????) You mean that neon radiation lit hair doesn't show up in a feild of wheat???? hmmmm. She said to just pluck it. Which made my whole body go into in involuntary convulsion. I seriously looked like a strange collapsing marrionette at the thoughts of it. I went with the mohawk, and all I can say about that is, hopefully they do not migrate, if they do, oh well, bald is in. *ahhhhh, the joys of aging. what next?* IP: Logged |

Thank goodness for wrinkles, spots and 'those' grey hairs!!!After coming out of the virtues thread I went on a downer (at bedtime). Couldn't sleep so here I am at 2am contemplating, not my naval, but the grey below my naval. GW - You had to mention it, didn't you!!! Well, okay, you're a brave, brave woman coming forward and declaring to the world that you discovered one attack of aging. But hey! You did the right thing! You shared what any self-dignified woman would do in your pubes.... I mean, shoes - You became a 'Styled Woman'. Not only 'styled', but 'mohawked' I can only gasp in awe of someone who just won't let aging get the better of you!! I can share my secret now you've made it so much easier..... clippers come in handy Phew - thank goodness for these seemingly mindless threads. They seem to refresh and invigorate my over-whelmed mind!!! Thanks gals IP: Logged |

Yikes... I will turn 40 in 2010. I just discovered that I no longer have to look for the grey's. They are sort of..."coming out"...and not a welcome appearance.Isn't there some kind of hair color that hides the greys...? <sighs> IP: Logged |

LEXX...YES! Although I can't claim my sags are from weight loss <sighs> Mine are from having babies. Twins the first time round, a 12 1/2 lb baby second time round and a 9 lb baby third time. My poor poor body lol.

It's the humility of people seeing their own imperfections and accepting them that allows them to accept yours as well. While you're busy thinking that other person is looking at your wrinkles, they're too busy thinking that you're looking at theirs.IP: Logged |
