This recipe sounds too good to not try.Ricotta Ice Cream 2 cups (400g) fresh ricotta 3/4 cup (165g) caster sugar 300ml thickened cream whipped softly 1. Blend the ricotta and sugar in a food processor until smooth. 2. Transfer mixture to large bowl and fold in cream. 3. Transfer to freezer proof container, cover and freeze for six hours/until frozen. Scoop and serve with strawberries that have been combined with a tablespoon of caster sugar. IP: Logged |

It does sound good. I recently bought an ice cream mix from the people who made ezy yo. The yogurt tastes fab so I'm gonna try this one out & let you know how it goes. I'm too lazy to fold all that stuff together so I'dd just add water & shake lol.IP: Logged |

Yum!!! that's sounds great. I tasted a beautiful cheesecake over Christmas - it was absolutely delicious. Not rich and sweet, but really filled a spot.IP: Logged |

Note the lack of response from all those in the Northern Hemisphere! ahahaaahhhaaa. Does sound lovely actually. Would be nice with pecans and maple syrup on top. IP: Logged |

Castor Sugar is superfine, in the states you are able to find it in bar sections of grocery...where mixers, margarita mix and the like are found. Large mega-marts sell it in the baking section, usually little boxes tho...labled SuperfineJust use regular sugar, or wiz it in a processer first if your blade is sharp. it disolves more quickly is all.
